That's actually a very cool move. Seems to make sense for both sides. GL Rain & fnatic!

Interesting times! I think the more people who follow his lead, the healthier the international scene will be overall. Good luck to Rain and Fnatic!

Sounds like a lot of them want to compete in foreign tournaments, so possibly.

I think it's time we give Rain a clean slate. Especially now since he's in a foreign team. I'm looking forward to seeing his new image. Good luck to him!

I remember the time when it was frowned upon when foreigner teams would pick up Korean mercenaries for their teams.

Nice to see those days are over! BD

This is unusual seeing another Korean being picked up by a foreign team, but picking up Rain is a good move, despite how I think his playstyle is inferior.

He certainly is good enough to beat the best foreign players. He has a bad reputation, but his last games showed a very competent macro and some good decision making. Of course, he's one level below the truly good players from Code S, but he still is a good korean. And now, he's Top8 in the NASL qualifier, so i guess he has a really good shot at playing in the second season of the NASL tournament (if it happens). Fanatic is going to have a pretty strong line-up.

Is he moving in with Fenix in Arizona? Is that in the process of becoming a pro house?

Grats to Fnatic. Nice pickup. People can hate on Rain all they want but look how much he's owning in the NASL Open tourney. He was able to regain Code S and even showed glimpses of solid macro games during his up and down matches. He's going to be one of the top players in the foreign scene no matter how much people don't like him.

Can they use him in the EG Masters Cup Finals? No offense to Xeris, but I think Rain might be a little more solid in that slot

Incontrol already confirmed that there is going to be a second season of NASL and I think top 8 in the open tournament means he's in.

Great news. I absolutely love the fact that koreans are starting to lean towards foreign teams and vice versa. This only improves the sc2 community!

HOW DID I NOT THINK OF THIS! LOL!

But wow, cool news for Fnatic and for Rain fans (are there any ? ). Still a nice pickup and a big deal for the scene in general.
