I just did a 3/3 Archon vs. 3/3 Ultra Infestor unit test, and Archons rape the living shit out of Ultra Infestor with fungals. It was literally like 10 archons vs 5 Ultras and 5 Infestors, and 2 archons died.

Maybe you should try 10 Archons vs 6 Ultralisks, which is a more reasonable test. What are infestors going to do, FG? Or were you NPing? For some reason, I feel like you must have done the test retarded, especially since, you know, there are a million youtube videos of Archon vs Ultra where it's pretty clear Ultras rape archons.

A (bad) example, but one of many. You are aware that Archons are lighter in supply. It's arguable they cost less as well.

Idra knows deezer stream cheats though so like others have said he was just trying something odd ball to see if it works. Idra has even said he thinks ultras are worthless.

Yea because those kinda scenarios really showcase the true in game situations.
Ultralisk are clumsy, they have retarted AI, they are melee, they are too large they take tooo long to produce, are easily kited, and take too much food + the support unit you make along with ultras (lings/fungal) get countered by the same Archon tech.

Go watch the Vods and you will see why Ultras are considered to be a worthless units.

Also 1 mutalisk counters 100 colossi (just so you know).

The difference is that CombatEx actually pauses and brings the stream of the player up, while Deezer will just play the games and snipe. If you watched the CombatEx vs. Deezer showmatch (funniest shit ever btw) it was extremely obvious that CombatEx was stream cheating while Deezer wasn't.

As for retarded AI, maybe your speaking for yourself. Most Zerg players don't a-move and keep huge ultralisks clumped up in the same control group as tiny zerglings, or with ranged units like roaches which will block the way, and know to move command lings to prevent blocking, or even move command ultras for surrounds instead of just a-moving.

Ultralisks AI are perfect, what's bad is you not controlling them maybe. 1 hotkey for lings, 1 hotkey for ultras, move command lings behind and ultras fanned out. It takes practice, but well worth it. Anyone who avoids ultras due to AI and pathing does not know how to use them properly.

They also aren't easily kited if you use lings for flanks (Destiny rape thing) or FG. Not hard to do.

And someone with 100 colossi will destroy your base faster than the muta will kill the army. That's why Ultralisks own VR/Colossi compositions - void rays are too slow and don't kill them fast enough.



The other way around brohan. Deezer streamcheated the entire time, Combat-ex didn't put up the stream until game 4 or 5.
