You'll take out that damn korean some day man, hang in there. Not to put down your video in anyway, i love all support that we can give to IdrA, but you bascially re-quoted every balance whine and everything that the Mods banned from the LR. I just think that pick better posts (ones that people did not get banned/warned for) might be a smarter move.

he's just showing how passionate and crazy his fans are about him. Showcasing the chaos that arose after his loss because so many fans took it so hard. Precisely. I haven't been very passionate about eSport in the past - IdrA is my "first big eSport love", I'd say. Seeing him play excites me and seeing him loose upsets me. However, it's not necessary to bomb a thread with an all out capslock rage. They should start a diary instead.

The biggest one being that if you blink a stalker at the right time you will dodge roach shots. This is actually huge, since roaches overkill so for example 3 roaches meant to shoot a stalker hit nothing at all with just 1 blink. It might actually be balanced just after fixing this. Blink is not really overpowered since you still got FGs, but it's definitely too strong. The next issue is taht blink got no animation time and therefore is too easy to micro. Roach burrow for instance got an animation time, which makes it hard to gauge when to burrow your roaches. With blink you just need to blink the damaged stalkers back and if they got shot at that time they will dodge it. The 3rd issue is that you can blink too often in my opinion. You should barely be able to blink the same stalker twice in a battle so I'd suggest increasing the cooldown to 30 seconds. However, this is the least favorable tweak and I'd like to see the first one applied the most followed by the second one. I think we may very well see a change in the next patch. As of now, just try to get those infestors out ~~

You can see no multitasking, no harassment at all. All he manages to do is to lay down proper forcefields and micro blinkstalkers well (nothing overwhelming though). Sometimes he goes for a deathball after camping on three bases. Sometimes he goes for blinkstalkers only. He almost exclusively rushes attack upgrades as Stalkers don't really need Armor if you blink them back before their shields are down. Just doesn't seem any special although in fact it might be if no zerg in the world can really keep up with it without counter cheese. I'm not good enough to judge it but if I had to describe his playstyle I'd call it "abusive" at the best. @Decaf: Doubling the coodown for Blink would be huge as Mutas could lay waste to Protoss bases again. The cooldown is too short though. Blinkstalkers are insanly mobile because of their high base speed in combination with blink.

His PvP and PvT might be extraordinary but especially judging from his last PvZ I fail to see what makes his play so extremely good and extraordinary.

And hence he concludes that what makes MC win so much is not really individual "skill", but merely the knowledge about how and when to "abuse" the mechanics of protoss. (Gateway instant reinforcements, chrono boost, 200 supply deathball) Did I understand you correctly there, uproar? Pretty exactly. I absolutely admit that MC has very good game knowledge and knows his timings very well. No question here. But what he basically does is massing blink stalkers over and over - usually with pretty fast 003 as stalkers don't benefit from armor except in PvP. What he does takes skill and a lot of practice but in PvZ at least I account much of his dominating position at the moment to the state of the matchup. Blink stalkers are ridiculously cost effective against any zerg army and even the supposed hard counters are not as hard as they should be. The only one who took a ZvP of Mc in this dreamhack was GGNaugrim. Look at the game. Naugrim basically needed a composition of ultralisks, broodlords and infestors to fight MC. The sad thing is that it only came to this situation because MC failed to scout a hidden hatch of Naugrim. Otherwise he would have been dead by then. The positions and map were exactly like in game 2 idra vs MC. If someone says MC is a very good protoss because he uses protoss mechanics at its best I will fully agree. It's exactly what he should do as he is a progamer and plays for money and success. If someone says:"Oh, poor idra, you gave you're best but MC is just too good". I tend to disagree and note that MC would be not nearly as succesful as he is with Zerg.
