Goodbye.
Anyway, I am pretty sad IdrA lost he could have stopped those blink stalkers if he didn't lose like 10 roach due to a bad rally, while teching to hydras (pretty risky vs a mass blink stalker timing rush...) I don't think IdrA expected to lose so many units during that attack, because otherwise he probably would have stayed on roach/ling. What does everyone else think?
im a sad panda right now. i was hoping for idra to get into the round of 8 at least. how did Sen managed to beat SaSe and idra cant. idra have been given opportunities to beat MC at big LAN events but failed to seize them i really hope he doesnt give up and continue to try to crack the MC code

yup. lost a bunch of roaches by pushing before tunneling, lost even more burrowing under a ton of forcefields, and lost even more on top of that from a bad rally. also late hydras and upgrade disadvantage, was a very close game but oh well :/
Idra threw away both games. First game he didn't expand creep into MC's base and 2nd game he pushed without infestors. His current view of ZvP matchup is very flawed.

if those are the reasons why you think he lost, your view of the zvp matchup is even more flawed O__O

fuck you blizzard

he has a point though. the cost effectiveness of blink stalkers against pretty much every lair tech is kinda ourageous. you cant even win with hydra ling in a lot of cases
E: he didnt play well in game 2 just speaking generally
Infestors are lair tech and they deal with stalkers quite fine.
Anyway I do agree to some degree, IdrA was up about 60 supply at some point and for a gateway only army (stalker only, to be precise) to roll a 60 supply advantage that hard is pretty ridiculous in my opinion.
Idra's army was heavy roaches which makes the supply count misleading. 60 supply lead is not that big of a deal when you have alot of roaches.
Idra just got outplayed, it's got nothing to do with game balance. Korean zergs have no problems against blink stalkers.
Idra's attitude towards the matchup is not helping him either, he has no confidence against protoss.
IdrA, i'm your biggest fan. In fact, i even made this video for you, in hopes that you will get back on your feet. You'll take out that damn korean some day man, hang in there.
- how Idra scouted and dealt with the VoidRay attacks by MC the first game, and how he tried to take an economic lead
- how he predicted that DT attack incoming simply (?) by counting the amount of sentries the second game. And how he dealt with this and tried to take a lead in that game too.
- how he positioned his Overseers in MC's base just right before the fight against his stalker army, how he delayed the immortals and tried to delay the amount of stalkers with contaminations.

Same, he started really strongly in both games, but I guess he made a couple of mistakes which cost him the games. First game, his corruptors were split and his point of engagement was really rough. Second game, his tunnelling claws didn't work out as well as he'd hoped and he got killed by blink stalkers with nothing to really counter them properly.

TBH his style is old and out of date i think. (PvZ) he needs to get some good practice partners - (A top Teir protoss) and really grind out a solid strat besides his current Roach into late Hydra gameplay infesotrs are needed

So nicely done!
