gogo idra. unfortunately for him to win he'll have to face MMA again :\
I hope InControl smacks IdrA and tell him to show all of us that he is the best Zerg in the world. And after that IdrA just steamrolls all of the competion

Wins and losses are carried over if you face the same player within the tournament.
For example, Player A beats Player B 2-0. Later they have to re-match. Player B has to win 4 games to take the new series. Player A only has to win 2, because his 2 previous wins are carried forward.
Idra won that game, and I honestly think he would have taken the second game aswell. Greg has done the same mistake two times in a row and I think he has learned his lesson, the hard way. <3 Idra

I hope so. I am a huge MMA fan, but I don't want him to win that way. Idra deserves to give himself better. Never give up! Never surrender! I'm sure he knows BoxeR won some games like that.
Just so so so confused by that GG vs MMA. The only way I can interpret it, as an IdrA fan, is supremely gosu BM. "Yeah I won that game, but I'm going to GG anyway, cuz I don't even need wins to be the best."

He thought MMA was on 3 bases, taking his gold. He used ALL his banes on the tanks and the marines wiped out 1/2 his muta and the other half were in the red.
He did not know he was ahead, and probably though that a second wave of marines would come any moment to finish him off while he had no banes.
Obviously he should have waited, but he thought he was FAR behind.
Idra is so smart. He creates publicity for himself. and any publicity is good publicity. He was even trending in US twitter wheres MLG wasn't. People will just love him or love to hate him.. Either way ppl will love him. Win-win.
Wow, I can't believe some people are arguing he might have dropped the games. There's no actual advantage in doing so and there's a much simpler explanation. Remember the gg against HuK, or the CC cancel into gg during TSL2... There's a pattern of IdrA giving up too fast and this fits right into it.
I wish he kept going until he really had no chance during these tournaments... :-/

he misinterpreted some situations. I bet he thought MMA was on 4 bases. MMA had a three base economy, but MMA killed his CC. IdrA didn't know that, so when he saw MMA re-take his gold, he probably figured that it was MMA's forth. Still a bit early, but if you consider IdrA's vision, then it is more understandable.
