So apparently more females showed up to T-ara's japanese showcase than dudes...wtf?
I mean I guess that's awesome and all but it's really surprising, seeing as far as I know 2ne1 and F(x) are the only ones who enjoy anything close to a ratio like that in Korea.

But more girls than guys? still weird. I mean I know the number of Japanese girls liking girl groups is going to be higher than Korean girls liking girl groups, but I still would've thought the guys would outnumber the girls.

That's because all the guys are otaku about manga, anime, and lolis. Why care about 3D girls when you have all of 2D girls you would ever want?

I think Qri is my new favorite T-ara girl. But then i've flip flopped from Jiyeon to Eunjung to Hyomin so who knows how long this will last, will probably cycle back to Jiyeon in a month or so ;p.

Qri's probably one of the hottest T-ara members, the problem is that she has virtually no skills whatsoever. Can't sing, can't really dance, can't act, can't even talk well/be funny for variety, so she just does modeling shit and looks hot at events, and therefore gets overshadowed by other T-ara members since they have perhaps the most members well known for doing things other than dancing/singing in a group.

Regarding face changes, I was a pretty cute kid and did some modelling work while in Korea. Then after coming to the UK, I was an ugly little mofo of a kid aged 14-16 when my face just got fat and eyes got smaller.
Then when puberty finished most of its work I ended up with everything back to pretty much normal but with a completely different jawline \o/

Seeing as how girls go through the process earlier, I'm not too fussed about photos from that time. Even Taeyeon went from being an adorable kid to dodgy aged 12 to the pure awesome today.

Also consider that doctors won't risk their license to give someone below 18 (might be 19, not even Korean years) cosmetic surgery. So Krystal etc are good to go, too.

^laws are different. idk what korean laws are like but some places plastic surgery to minors is legal, sometimes parental consent is required but w/e.

edit- random thought but it amazes me that CCM could find so much talent for T-ara (I like the original 6, and most or any of them would be my favorite in any other girl group), yet they failed so hard in finding talent for Co-ed/5dolls. the girl who sings all the time is good, I guess, but they're all basically trolls and most of them untalented. How the hell does a company go from scouting people like Hyomin, Soyeon, Eunjung to finding people like Hyoyoung (and Hwayoung for that matter) and fucking Hyewon?
