Okay, BigFan, I'm going to do this just once for you, because I think the internet can be a great place to learn things and education is important. I will do this as patiently as I can as not to offend any sensibilities.
Let's examine your logic then.

Well, I guess we can make the argument that she's been stressed since birth. Not even ivory-haired Kirito-kun knows what she's talking about. But that's okay, right now we're not talking about how dumb she is, as we're just focusing on your rationale.
Now you might be thinking, "Oh that's just nitpicking, that was right before she gave him the weapon," even though it took another couple of minutes before she even mentions the knife (come on, at least say something about it, she doesn't necessarily have to give it to him while he's carrying her, but at least let him know so he knows what's up).
Okay, well, I can forgive her for not mentioning the weapon here. Afterall, what's the rush, right? They couldn't foresee the incoming monster. Afterwards, they go on their date blah blah blah. The monster comes, Bell breaks his knife and they run away and everything's going downhill. Let's see how scared and shocked she is.
Her brain's so shocked she wants to fight alongside Bell!
Now she just watches as he jogs away without a weapon while still not saying a single thing about the knife.
A bit later, now into episode three, she finds her way out of the cave and they meet up. Surely it's time to actually help him out before something bad happens. Surely her mind was set on nothing but wanting to help out Bell, give him the weapon and have him slay the monster so they can have more deitos.
wot
Now let me just ask you: why is it so hard to accept Hestia for who she is, and instead attempt to mold her into the canon of normalcy that you would like her to exhibit? I don't like her because she's dumb; that doesn't mean you can't like her for that same reason. No one's blaming you for your tastes, so why try to rationalize?

If you read that post of mine that you bolded, you would realize that I made a general statement which wasn't false at all then went on to say that she eventually did what I expected her to do even if it was delayed which is something I was satisfied with. Read my next post and you'll realize that I stated that the author also made her delay giving the weapon because he wanted the 'perfect' setting for it which is quite typical.
Either way, you're taking this way way too seriously. I appreciate your efforts compiling that evidence but I've already lost interest in this argument a while back:

Ya, my heart cried for her. She had a pretty cruel life. I think the anime did a great job showing that. Her only consolation at the end was that she died alongside berserker. She would've went back to the loneliness had he only died. Can't wait until they put down that crazy OP guy >.>

well i finally broke down and started danmachi. Im not as fascinated by hestia's boobs as apparently everybody else is, but I kind of like her character. I pretty much liked all the characters introduced so far, and i think i'm gonna have a good time with this anime.
I don't think Hestia is as stupid as you guys think. Compared to the other gods and goddesses she might be, but compared to the humans i think she's probably on a higher level. She strikes me as the type of character who puts on a front of ditzy but can actually be pretty intelligent. Even if i'm wrong here and she's not actually that smart, it doesn't bother me too much. She's smart enough, and I think she'll have some other good qualities that shine through later on. At the very least she's pretty damn insightful since she's the only one to give Bell a chance in joining her family and i'm sure he's gonna be stupidly strong. Especially considering like all the other ones kicked him to the curb with one look. She's also incredibly loyal. I can also see that she knows exactly what to say to make bell do whatever she wants him to so she's not a complete dumb dumb.
I'm playing devils advocate a little here so don't take all this as my actual opinion on the subject but... About the sword, sure she didn't give it to him right away....but a thought occurred to me. These gods/goddesses are immortal and live for years and years and years. It doesn't actually strike me as odd that she would forget to immediately give him the sword since she probably figured she has lots and lots of time to do it. Add into that she's still a girl and probably has really strong feelings for MC, so most likely when she saw him, she didn't think about the sword and just thought about being with him and how it made her happy. Also, I think that he needed to fight some and then have time to sit with her while she updated his status with the sword so that both he and the sword got stronger to start. It's possible that without that level up he wouldn't have been able to win the fight with that monkey or w/e.
Honestly, there are only two explanations. And its possible they are one in the same. Either is bad writing, or shes stupid, or its bad writing and shes stupid. Its probably the first one exacerbating the second one, but w/e.

A lot of them often are.
@ZNF : How does it translate into writing? Looking at Japanese writings, some of the characters look similar to Chinese... How does a name like Sakura translate into characters?
劉藝森 = Liu yi sen (my Chinese name). As you can see, three syllables. I think most Chinese names are 3 syllables (I could be wrong, I'm no expert)
Sa - ku - ra = 3 characters? But what about the family name?
Sa - ku - ra, Matou. that name = 5 characters?
Sakura is one character though: 桜
Moto Sakura = 間桐桜
Kanji in Japanese are not phonetic like they are in Chinese, which is why you see a lot of Kanji with Kana notation to clarify the pronunciation.
小鳥遊 literally means "birds playing" but actually pronounced Takanashi, which means "No (nashi) eagle (taka)", Japanese Kanji is filled with weird bullshit like that
I was just like "who in the world writes takanashi like that" so I google and get
高梨, this is the most common way to write Takanashi means 高(high) 梨(pear). 高階, another way to write means 高(high) 階(floor of the building, or stairs) 小鳥遊, I assume this became famous in recent Japanese anime, games and light novels indicate 小鳥 (small birds) 遊(play). This is a kind of word association game. The situation where small birds can play freely is a situation free of hawks which are their predator. Hawks are Taka in Japanese. The absence of something is Nashi in Japanese. Thus, this rare family name is read as Takanashi.
Yet again turns out that it's just really hard to figure out names yourself
小鳥遊 is a long existing Japanese name, but it is extremely rare. Estimates is that there are more fake Takanashi written as 小鳥遊 than real people.

No way they're ending the season on the sairaorg battle, i think Ishibumi even confirmed that on his blog that that would be next season if there is one. I think the order of the events of volume 5-7 are just being moved around, resolving Akeno and Koneko's arcs in the start together with finishing off the Loki arc and then moving onto the rating games later, that would make sense anyway, this way they can finish off loki in episode 6~7 and then maybe do the sona vs rias game in episode 8~9 and then the Asia arc from 10-12, but even like this it's still cramped since it's 3 volumes in 1 season instead of just 2. He might also have moved bits of the asia arc earlier but he's definitely already been foreshadowing it happening.
I REALLY hope we get another season so we can get to volume 9-10 and get the rating games and the relationship between Rias and Issei properly resolved.
