That was every bit as screwed up as I expected it to be. So basically, family problems (and probably a fair bit of paranoia) is entire catalyst for Miu becoming the person she is? And Konoha is so innocent as a kid it's depressing. Way to ruin his life, Miu. -_-
Looking forward to the last ep, if only because of how badly Nanase always seems to get screwed over.
I started reading Koe de Oshigoto after watching the first OVA. Is it bad that I hate practically all the characters except for the two mains and the woman VA? It's like everybody's insane except for them.
Literally the only good thing about Rihoko's arc in Amagami was Kanae, and she didn't even get that much screen time... That aside, it was odd just how ambiguous the ending was. Let's go over how their relationship developed over the course of this arc - oh wait, it didn't. They're still just friends. How is this supposed to be a happy ending?

The sarcasm, its too much!
Watch Zero no Tsukaima if you have a thing for incredibly abusive tsudere lolis. Plus it has harem elements and the male lead is a pervert, so the abusive tsudere loli gets even more opportunities/excuses to maim the male lead than normal.
Someone was raving about Koe de Oshigoto, so I took a look. Not my thing. Piss weak characters and I really can't see where the series can go plot-wise from what's shown. There just doesn't seem to be much..potential.

Yes, but I found it to be enjoyable. I agree that it is not a very good or deep series, just a quick fun that doesn't take itself too seriously. Probably not everyones cup of tea though.
I'm wondering why there were no comments about this weeks OreImo. Anybody else feel that the episode was just weak?
And third completely unrelated point: I watched Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora yesterday. Not as good as the first season in my opinion, but still "ok".

Ryoto's Huckie Boxer is pretty cool, in one scene I was like is that an Attack List I see him selecting?
lol yeah, he selects attacks from a list, just like in the games. It even listed the attack power like the games did lol
They did a good job combining the White Star incident with the escape from the Moon. Last episode when they said the Mk.III was canceled had me really worried that Huckebeins were completely out, and then then episodes comes with the "EXbein", which is just the Mk.III without a V-crest on the head.
Next episode should be great too, since its the TLI episode. Cybuster for sure, and hopefully Astelion and Trombe.
oh yes! Trombe! well I don't see the Calions yet. so Astelion won't be out that soon i think
We had Calions in that simulation early on, when they had a mock battle against the Grungust Type2. Plus, in the games at least, this is close to when the Astelion made its debut.
The Astelion made its debut before they even met up with the Hiryu, when Ibis, Masaki, and Ratsel fought off that one Inspector chick right after TLI was captured. At least, it shows up in the same mission as Cybuster did.
I haven't seen a Phantom Phoenix yet....Valsione didn't use Cross Smasher =/ and Shine/Lat really needs her Fairlion Hey atleast we see the big 4 =D Dyzengar is just a more =D
Zero no Tsukaima's 2nd half was hilariously bad. The war was over within 4 pages, the bad guys did absolutely nothing and overall got 1 bubble of speech for the whole thing. My jaw literally dropped at how rushed that was.

For some reason, that makes me want to watch it. -_-x

What.
When I tried watching ZnT, I didn't make it past the first episode. I don't mind fanservice most of the time, but it seemed to be handled particularly badly in that show. I guess it didn't help that I had already read a bunch of the LNs by this point. Even if they're pretty mediocre plot-wise, they're still so much better in comparison...
By the way, Louise is like the worst tsundere in existence. There is simply no level of dere that will justify that sort of tsuntsun. =/

Let me describe to you how bad it was: page 1: Hero: GET INTO THE ZERO FIGHTTA, we must save kingdom lawl!!!one11eleven!! window 2: friends watching. WOW it actually can fly O.o window 3: but where the fuck is the main tsundere girl?!
page 2: window 1: hero kills 3 dragon riders window 2: tsundere: KUKUKU THIS SHIT CAN ACTUALLY FLY?! GOOD JOB MY FAITHFUL DOG/SERVANT/FAMILIAR!!! window 3: Enemy Captial Ship ahead. Lets go into it's blindspot!!! window 4: Hero's Arch-nemesis: NUUUU WE MUST INTERCEPT HIM!!!!! window 5: Hero notices bad guy on intercept course.
page 3: Tsundere: FCUK WAT TO DO? *puts hand with ring on close to magic book* OH SH!T NOW I CAN CAST ULTIMATE SPELLZ OF DESTRUCTSHUN (despite never being able to cast any other spell succesfully) other half of page: Queen: WUUUU BRIGHT LIGHT IN TEH SKYZ. Enemies disappear.
page 4: Queen: FUCK YEAH WAR IZ OVAR. WE IZ WINRARS. Hero + Tsundere kiss.
Teh Endzor.
motherfucking mind blowing to say the least. The enemy general supposedly could also use the ultimate "magic of the void" but lol. Shit was so hilariously bad.
All I can say about ZnT is that there is a reason the light novels practically turned pornographic. Oh, and I think Louise is the tsundere that got me to despise the archetype, considering that the archetype is just overused and not exactly horrid, that's an accomplishment.
About Bungaku Shoujo, yeah. It was basically all the stuff that you learn in vol 5 about Miu that the movie couldn't fit in. Personally I loved how the Miu-Konoha relationship developed from childhood to present time. Especially brilliant in the novels since the whole thing with Nanase doesn't happen till the end of the novels, so we even had some interesting moments of Miu-Nanase alliance against Touko.
and yeah seriously Nanase always gets screwed over, I am feeling too afraid to read the last book of the gaiden. On the bright side, next year for author-Konoha + editor-Touko~
Did the "comedy" between Louise and whats-his-name-main-character remind anyone else of Courage the Cowardly Dog? Like "STUPID DOG, YOU MADE ME LOOK BAD! *kicks him in the nuts*"
So I read the stories about Kalinin, Mardukas, and Sousuke's pet tiger. Thinking back to Always, Stand by Me, weren't Kalinin's last words the same as Sousuke's mother? Because that's horribly depressing. I guess it was a throwback to just how Kalinin really was the parent Sousuke never had.
Being able to see their universe diverge from our history was pretty cool.
It's impressive how much research the author did for these stories. Heck, the only other novels I've ever read that get as in-depth as FMP in terms of submarine engagements are all written by Tom Clancy. Nobody ever seems to mention the awesomeness that is the Crazy Ivan.
I always thought Mardukas' hat turn was done on purpose, but supposedly it's done subconsciously? By the way, it looks so bad when he does it with his Royal Navy hat -_-
I need more of these stories, but it's so hard to find translated versions...
