Shiki is being very interesting for now. I can guess the mystery is gonna become more and more complex as time goes. However, I hope the solution won't be something completely retarded that doesn't make sense at all.

Huh, I thought Shiki's been pretty boring so far. None of the characters are particularly endearing and the zomg people dying!!! hasn't really been entertaining. Going to keep watching to see if it gets better though.

Shiki is developing its plot at such a leisurely pace that it's almost painful to watch for me. I keep getting assured that the story will get better though, so I guess I'll stick it out and see what happens.

So is this girl like a Hayate clone or something? Things are gonna get creepy really fast if she gets added to Hayate's harem.

I was pretty surprised too by Hayate, since I was just expecting Hina to move in and instead got hit with a random. No idea where the author wants to go with this though.

Hasn't there only been one episode (maybe two) out? Seems a bit too early to judge, though I'm particularly fond of the first episode myself.

I thought about it a little, and figured that the author wouldn't have any of the obscenely rich characters move in. Hamster is definitely going to be a tenant. I marked Hina as a maybe since her family's supposedly well off, but since she's independent and popular with the fans, she might end up renting a room. Yukiji is another possibility except she's dirt poor. The one real exception to my rule would be Athena, just because it'd be hilarious to have her in there (and I can totally see her doing it too). Can't think of any others off the top of my head...

Edit: Say, aren't we due for a Darker Than Black episode soon?

Woah there. What just happened to Denyuuden. The only times I've been caught less of guard is during the ending to School days and the beginning of Higurashi. All the gore just suddenly flooded in, O_o.

Those pics above remind me of a wallpaper where you can see Yui having killed everyone else with a guitar. It was very disturbing since K-On! is such a happy comedy.

Interesting point of vol 1 happened. Now we get battered with more stories from short vol probably. Like Southlight was complaining about the novels a few pages back, it doesn't pick up in character development till waaaaaay into the first part of novels. Anyway, there is no way they'll get 11 vols done, so we are getting either filler material or crap.

Oh, on the matter of novels, character development slows again with DaiDenYuuDen but events are going at blazing speeds. It makes for good paced reading but annoyances while reading. Kifa is finally back in the picture though, thank God, except even that doesn't stop Felice from talking about dango 95% of the time. Also, something somewhat annoying, they just slapped 3 characters from the short stories (toriaezuDenYuuDen) into DaiDenYuuDen with like one mention of name in the 11 vols of DenYuuDen. If I wasn't reading the short stories I wouldn't know jackshit.

More DtB Gaiden? I mean, um, Yin fanservice? I mean that's all I am looking for from the gaiden.

Well, Hamster and Hina are paired, of one shows up the other will. Outside of events in school I don't think they have been apart for like the last 150 chapters. Yukiji moving in will be odd, but if she shows up Hina will too probably (and vice versa). Aa-tan showing up would be gold even if it makes nearly no sense, might happen for laughs. I think the guy teacher should show up though just because even for Hayate this will be an inordinate ration of female to male

As long as the future student council president and Indian girl doesn't show up I am fine honestly.

I am semi tempted to find all the pixiv links for the pics, but I think I'll settle for just a few random ones.

I thought the character development are ran with a pace like Slayers. Lina and Gourry stayed relatively consistent throughout the whole thing, and Slayers is much longer than Denyuuden. Didn't the author of Denyuuden want to begin the story at Daidenyuuden, but decided to fill in the back story first?

Oh I remember the K-On Murder pic. It still has nothing on that ghoul pic of Yui though. Scary~

Speaking of scary, Shiki looks like it's going to be the best anime of the Summer season. Several others worth keeping an eye on, but Shiki looks cemented in that position.

Amagami SS this week was so stupid. If the end of this arc is going to be as stupid as that episode, then I'm absolutely dropping the series.
