Confirmed keep : Valvraveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee : Valvraveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Arpeggio : Only 2 episodes, but I'm really enjoying it although I believe it has some flaws (like some I pointed out ; but then again, some people argued otherwise in the posts)
Maybe : Log Horizon : Episode 2 was much better than 1. Dead people don't die in the game, so it won't have the early SAO feeling of desperation. Still wondering what's happening in their universe! Alot of explanation on their battle system, so that's great. Although I feel like the MC is given any subclass necessary for the plot lol.
Coppelion : After 2 episodes, I am still unsure if I like the serie or not. I must say I am a big fan of post-apocalypse world. However, Coppelion doesn't seem to fit in. It's definitely an apocalyptic Japan... but it's like there are none of the survival theme... maybe it's due to the invincible coppelion..?

It's 2 episodes as of now. I don't know what's so odd about the story; plenty of stories start with a simple arc used to introduce how the world works before moving onto larger things. Given this is only 1 cour though, you'd have to ask someone else how the pacing looks like it'll turn out. Moe AI systems isn't odd either, considering this is Japan. + Show Spoiler [episode 2] +
I laughed at Hyuuga getting beaten and looted in the past off screen because I've modernized like 3 of them lol. All I got were 35.6cm cannons. I definitely like Takao's character design a whole lot more than Kancolle version.

As long as by opening up more, you don't mean opening her legs, i'm fine!
Jokes apart, I finally found the music from Kamisama that I was looking for a while
Sad that it is so short though
lol. I do feel like the anime is aiming for that kind of stuff on the side based on the credits at the end. Guess it's supposed to get more people to watch it or something.
I was hoping for the MC to be unique with his ship. But turns out that every Fog ship also have a girl AI or whatever it is
Also, the part about the MC being a traitor to humanity doesn't make much sense (or maybe I misread from episode 1). The flashback hardly explained much, imo. Also, its bizarre that they are actively seking his help, even though he is a "Traitor"
BTW, when did his friends joined him on board of the sub? I recall him "running away" from school. I don't recall him stopping by to pick his friends
MC? I'm not sure what flashback you're taking about. I've only watched the first episode so far though lol. Not sure about friends either. He ran away then well, they are there. Are they really his friends though? They look different from what they were like at his school?

All the subs are deadpan, but they all have distinct personalities. Iona herself is pretty great at doing snarky things thanks to said deadpan expression. I prefer 402 though, but they probably won't reach the part where she really gets to shine.

He's a traitor because he essentially commandeered navy property. And they're not really actively seeking his help. More accurately, one faction of the government is seeking his help, as there is a significant amount of political maneuvering going on behind the scenes. This will probably be the focus of the next few episodes.
As for why they want his help, I-401 is basically the only human controlled ship capable of fighting the fog in any capacity. The vibration warhead they want to transport is capable of destroying fog armor, but is not capable of penetrating their Klein fields. Conventional weaponry is plain useless. I-401, being a fog ship itself, comes equipped with corrosion warheads which can do both. + Show Spoiler [Ep 2] +
The superheavy cannon can also do both, obviously. Incidentally, it's not really accurate to say that I-401 looted the superheavy cannon from Hyuuga. It's more that they gained the construction blueprints for the superheavy cannon from Hyuuga's core. Fog ships are composed of nanoparticles, so they can effectively reform themselves into different shapes. So when Iona fired the cannon, she didn't expose the cannon, she formed it.
deadpan? Explain please or do you just mean her expression and the way she acts?
The shipmates came aboard sometime during the two year timeskip.
The subs all have the same deadpan expression. Their personalities, on the other hand, are anything but.
ok I think I get you now. You mean the expression is deadpan lol.
edit: watched the second episode, very interesting. + Show Spoiler +
rofl at takao wanting a human onboard. I guess I can see where this is going. Seems like he's sparing them in the hopes that they'll turn and join his side(not that it's his main reason or anything). I gotta say though, that the battle they had was quite interesting. The maneuvering and such although the superheavy cannon still feels like it came out of nowhere even though there was a mention of them defeating Hyuuga and all. Do we have any more details about Hyuuga atm? Would like to know more who the ship was etc...
The first mention of Hyuuga in the manga comes in the Takao fight as well. More about her is explained later on, but I don't think the anime will even reach that point.
Still watching: Arpeggio, though it's gonna be exposition galore until the end of the season Galilei Donna, next on the chopping block Gundam Build Fighters Kill la Kill Kyousogiga, aoty obv Non Non Biyori Samurai Flamenco, seems ok? But who knows. Yowamushi Pedal
Dropped: Golden Time Coppelion White Album 2 (lmao) Ace of Diamond Gingitsune, though I might pick it up again if they actually get something decent going. But it's no Natsume so far. Tokyo Ravens, because I mean, why bother watching something with shit CG when it probably won't even get past the little that has been tl'd?
Build Fighters Gingitsune Machine-Doll Yowamushi Pedal Non Non Biyori Arpeggio Tokyo Ravens BlazBlue (might drop, I watched it for Sugita) Coppelion Miss Monochrome (thanks Elem) Kyousougiga Valvrave Kyoukai no Kanata (was considering dropping but ep 3 was at least... a little better) Nagi no Asukara Galilei Donna (loli engineer best girl) Strike the Blood IS2 (Chiwa Saito saved it) Kill La Kill Refrain Yuushibu Log Horizon Yozakura Quartet Teekyuu S3 (anime of the season, every season).
Also gave most of the other shows this season at least an episode or two.

I do want to know how his father managed to steal the ship or w/e happened. It's odd that they made little girls the AI though. Also, it seems odd that the story will revolve around them moving some stuff to the US and such since it seems so simplistic story-wise.
I definitely like Takao's character design a whole lot more than Kancolle version.
with Takao blushing and being all like "I want that human to board me too!" there's no further information needed to know where this is going
rofl. I must've missed that last part unless it was at the end of the second episode.

Having the same deadpan facial expression/emotion all the time makes that pretty hard lol.

Tokyo Ravens, because I mean, why bother watching something with shit CG when it probably won't even get past the little that has been tl'd?
why do you say that? It's only 1 season? Going to get skipped?
Kyoukai no Kanata(I liked this episode a lot, Mitsuki ;; ) Valvrave s2 (Mecha and Saki goodness) Gundam builders(the whole reiji appearing and dissapearing is like what but the mecha is too good) Kill La Kill Infinite stratos s2(Laura and Charlotte++ Show Spoiler +
we will actually get some action soon, Madoka and Silent Zephyr plus the Sarashiki sisters have some really cool designs as well
Monogatari Arpeggio Steel, the boats and stuff is awesome, liking it so far. Log Horizon Golden Time Magi
Copellion is sorta interesting but I need to see where it is going, same with Blaze Alter memory. Tokyo ravens, despite a large amount of Hanakana moe I will see if I can get used to the CGI contrast(its ridicilous), if not ill drop it in a few episodes. Same goes for Naga Asukara because even Hanakana won't make me watch the MC guy.
The rest ill give a few more episodes, I think I am watching more shows this season then the last for what it is worth.

Which show are you referring to? If it's Tokyo Ravens, that's because one season isn't really going to be enough to get anywhere noteworthy.
Just watched episode two of Nagi no Asukara. I really hope that this show doesn't bogged down with melodrama and shitty anime tropes/gags. It's full of interesting conflicts, and the pacing has been perfect thus far.
