And was wanting to watch more but have come to a roadblock you might say and was wondering if anyone could recommend more anime along the same genre as these.

Ahahaha, poor Tessa. I'm so happy I could cry. ![]() Mardukas finally earns his keep in this novel. Him being badass was fine, but somehow, his hat thing seems really stupid. Good to see that Al continues to be awesome. The next season can't come soon enough. I've been reading Hozuki-san Chi no Aneki lately, and it's pretty enjoyable. It's basically about a guy who's a siscon, and his older, un-blood related sister who is essentially a massive troll (and by troll, I mean this kind). This would normally be a crappy story for a manga, but fortunately, it's a 4koma. Anyway, I found it pretty consistently funny.

Next season of FMP can come when I get my last vol. At first it was supposed to be 2009. Then the author was like "oh this Spring" (2010), it is freaking summer now TT As for Mardukas and the hat, I thought it was pretty neat. Adds a very human side to the cold, mechanical chess player...Al is just perpetual awesome though. If I translate any of the short stories I'll be sure to pick ones that has Al ![]() Unless you are talking about manga, but I don't recall Sigma covering A Dancing Very Merry Christmas so yeah...

+ Show Spoiler [Angel Beats 9] + Thought this one was pretty good. Though maybe I'm just happy after 8 weeks of random plot direction they finally gave us something concrete. The last part of the train accident scene was pretty predictable but still made me sad ![]()

Giving Mardukas a human side is fine and all, but the hat thing just seemed kinda forced to me. Oh well, at least the battle made up for it. Conversations with Al are hilarious. It's like all Sousuke does is tell him to shut up. By the way, I heard rumors that the last FMP novel is only part 1, which means there's gonna be another wait. ![]() I'm reading Kare Kano now, and it is good.

I'll cry if after 2+ years all I get is a part 1. EDIT - and nice site, I am too lazy to go check the quality of the works, but as long as things get through that's fine. About Mardukas' hat, there was some backstory to it in one of the SS books, so that might've made it easier for me to stomach too. As for forced, well, we didn't really get enough about Mardukas to make it seem all that bad ![]()

By the way did anyone watch Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei episode 6? Most comedic episode of the show to date, and that's saying a lot since the episodes are all so funny :D

All in all it was great. Superb animation, probably the most well done action scenes I've seen in an anime up there with Cowboy Bebop. It also had great humor and a real personality to it. I'd say it has a clearer direction towards a younger demographic though, so a few of the episodes were a bit bland to me. Also saw Claymore recently. Half-demon chicks in plate armor hunting monsters in the medieval West sounded like a concept that was too badass to be true. I watched it all the way up until the last episode, though it kind of felt like work as the sword action had really lazy animation, characters were hardly interesting, and the dialogue was just bottom of the barrel and over done. Plot had a really cool premise but the show was just a boat load of missed potential IMO. Working on Elfen Lied now because I heard that was great. So far all I can see is how it appeals to the lowest common denominator though to be honest -- it's seriously awful. I think I'm going to put it down.

The Claymore anime was pretty meh. Especially the ending of course. I find the manga to be infinitely better, but monthly release is murrrderrr.
