Not sure how old is the wiki entry, + Show Spoiler +http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Robot And yes, everyone knows about what is super robot (mazinger Z, Giant Robo etc) and real robot (basically spawned from the earlier gundam) , nowadays some/many people (ie, not only me) just laughed at many so called 'real robot' that are in fact quite 'super'. Show nested quote +In Full Metal Panic, the mechs used by Mithril and Gauron are Super Robots, in that their technology and power is far beyond that of mechs that others use, including superpower nations. Also, the special equipment created from Black Technology that's on Sousuke's and Gauron's Arm Slaves relies greatly on the pilot's creativity and emotional state. They are real robots unless they are equipped with the Lambda Drive, and even then it's only when using it. Sousuke's robot seems to have a personality, but it's an AI that mostly exists to aid him (and tell the audience what they'd normally need to be able to read instruments to know). Which doesn't stop Sousuke from playing the straight man to his own robot in the final episode of The Second Raid. In-Universe, they are all reals robots. Except there is black technology, an incredibly advanced technology, which is used in some highly advanced prototype as the Arbalest and the Tuatha de Danann. as we know all highly advanced technology is magic. My original post was never meant to be serious or whatever + Show Spoiler +, i seriously don't understand what's the fuss is all about. Both the Arbalest and the Laevathein are Real Robots. Real/Super is traditionally a SRW unit type classification (in which the Arbalest is a Real). You could make any number of stupid arguments trying to make dozens of Gundams (anywhere from the original, to Turn A, to Zeta, to V2, to Strike Freedom, to 00 Raiser, etc) to be "Super Robots". But if you sit here and try and tell me that the Zeta Gundam is a Super Robot, and not a real Robot, I'm going to laugh at you.
And if you want proof that the Zeta Gundam can do really bullshit magic things: + Show Spoiler [Zeta Gundam ep49 spoilers] +
Long story short, you can make any number of arguments that "Real" Robots such as the Arbalest are actually Super Robots. But I'm still going to laugh at you, since when it comes down to it, there are barely any "Real" Robots in existence who don't run off of magic. THAT is why it is blurry.
Edit: Out of curiosity, did you or any of your friends used to troll /m/? Because this is a classic troll topic on /m/, on par with such subjects as "What makes something a Gundam?"

First season we barely got anything at all, heck I even questioned if there was anything at all. Second season they finally give a bite, more even. I dont follow the manga so Idk how the pacing is there, but I hope they stay consistent with the way they paced it in the anime.

So, another episode of Yahari. Pretty good I'd say, I actually really like how much they're exploring Hayato's character, and how he's not just a cardboard cut-out. Tennis guy's scenes always make me laugh a bit too. The current setting is pretty awesome as well. On the whole, a bit above decent show.

My favorites are Turn A Gundam (show) and Vysaga (robot).
So hard to answer this. >_<
Favorite show is TTGL.
Favorite robot is Reborns Gundam.

In their haste to hit vol 6 for this season of 1 cour, they ended up cutting a lot of stuff. Unfortunately, that includes a lot of the earlier vol stuff about Hayama that makes this vol make sense. Then they also cut out the things with him this vol too, so if they are going to fit in the conclusion of the vol involving him it is just going to be a lot of derp.
Whatever, Yukinon swimsuit next week, I'll live with that.
EDIT - All the cutting is going to come back to bite them in the ass for vol 5 and 6, but not like they care. Oh well, for something that I originally started because of Hayamin the series + books has given me more mileage than I expected out of it. It'll do.

I just picked up Aku no hana
It took me some time before getting into the story. Where I am right now, things are pretty weird ; I have a hard time following the thoughts of the main char :/ Not sure if I've missed something :S
It feels a little bit similar to Welcome to NHK, just a little bit

Just starting out Railgun, since Railgun S looked intriguing and people have been saying that it watching the first season was a must.
First impressions after one episode
+ Show Spoiler + What the hell so much fanservice? The railgun ability is really cool and I like the whole take on psychic powers. Middle schoolers doing everything ugh. Why is it always middle schoolers? I like where this is going.
And as always, the amount of fansubs options confuse me.

Just pick anything that's not Commie/gg/Duwang

To watch Railgun you have to watch Index, and that's 24 ep x 3... well not have to but it's a spinoff from Index and without it alot stuff won't make sense.

Index-> Railgun -> Railgun S -> Index s2 could work too.

The whole premise of Aku no Hana seems like a worse version of Onani Master Kurosawa.

I actually can't remember if I watched Railgun or Index first. But honestly, given how much background info they kind of provide to you in Railgun, I don't see how you would be that confused because most of the confusing stuff is all the magic and stuff they throw around.

Doesn't matter that much imo, but Index s1 kind of spoils the Sisters arc I guess?

Looking for something that will make me either: A. Feel guilty for being alone, or B. Feel good about looking for a job. or both. Welcome to the NHK was right there. Perfect show for me. I'll rewatch in a couple weeks.
