I thought I saw TWGOK S3 on a summer chart. I guess I was just dreaming. =/

There was a clipping from a magazine/paper/whatever that was displaying S3

Only downside is since it's before Bakemonogatari it doesn't have any of those characters. Hell you barely see Shinobu. It's just lots of Magaragi and Hanekawa with a bit of his sisters and Oshino. If I actually liked Hanekawa I would've enjoyed it more, but it's still bake>nise>neko in my opinion.

For me it's bake > neko > nise, and I seem to like nise a lot more than what seems to be the norm (many seem to dislike it a lot).
I have no issues with Hanekawa as long as she's actually involved in the "plot" (see: Kizu, Neko White/Black, last few episodes of Bake etc), and even though I don't find her likeable (braids + glasses + class rep has always been worst possible combination for me btw, lol. Also fuck lacrosse.), I find her rather interesting.

I missed the part about underwear colour. ;_;

I think a lot of people didn't like Nise because it was pretty much porn at times. The story's were really good, at least I think so, but for some the nudity and whatever was just too much. I always found it funny how he could let Sengoku climb all over him and not figure out what was going on, but could then go on to molest his sisters. + Show Spoiler +That toothbrush scene. I don't think it's possible to forget something like that.
I guess the cut lines might've just been down to time. Although they probably could've cut most of Kanbaru stuff which I wouldn't have minded. Her and Sengoku didn't really play any part in Nise unless I'l forgetting something. I just like Sengoku's character more.
I'm sure Shaft will make up for it with a tonne of fanservice next time round. Or maybe they'll go back to less ecchi, though I'd watch either way.

Most complaints I've heard about Nise was about pacing. Maybe I just like Kaiki more than what is normal.
As for fanservice, well, I know at least one moment in Neko White that should be good (of course, that depends on whether you appreciate it or not).
edit: and the comment about cut lines most likely refers to Neko, not Nise.

Oh I misunderstood, my bad
I thought Kaiki was a pretty good character too. For me, I think it's down to mostly not seeing him as a villain, just an extremely unlikeable person that makes him an interesting character. I just think it works a bit better, considering what he was actually doing, rather than just being a villain with some weird motive that doesn't really make sense. It fleshed out Karen and Tsukihi as well which was good, so now they actually have some development as far as the anime goes, rather than simply existing.
I think I know which one you're talking about. I don't really remember too much of the books though really. I'm wondering whether to read them again or just wait for the anime. Is it the + Show Spoiler +bath scene? I might be confused with something else though
Have we had any news recently about Kizumonogatari by the way? I know it was delayed from last year, but I've not heard anything since. I'd put bets on a winter 2013 release if we haven't had any news recently.

Almost. If my memory serves me right it's + Show Spoiler +
As for Kizu: The year after we get another FMP season.

Just curious, what's so great about Neptunia? Enlighten a heathen.

Ouch
I'm sure it'll happen some day. Maybe. If I don't believe it won't happen ;;

Nise was them slowly realizing that outside of bake, every other book of the monogatari series is more or less shit pacing for anime if they don't want to make some cuts. Neko kuro was them taking the first step at cutting things...and axing all the good stuff.
Also Nise didn't really flesh out the fire sisters at all, that was mostly the job of other books. Even then though Karen doesn't get lines so the only one doing any developing is Tsukihi. Except she just pushes along the plot because she is the banter queen of second season.

Wow Maou-sama #5 is pretty decent. I did not expect that kind of budget on this anime lol Maou and yusa are so cool when they are back to their real form lol
|
It fleshes them out compared to the first season. Where they exist to make sure Agaragi gets out of bed lol.
Hopefully since next one is over half a year they won't have to cut so much. I think it's an episode per 70 pages or something someone posted, but I don't know how valid that is.
Also, as far as Neptunia goes, I think a lot of it is hype, but at the same time I'm expecting it to be at least a bit good. I don't expect it to be a 10/10 piece of art but it should be ok.
|
Neptunia is going to suck. Let's be honest here. It will really depend on how much of a parody (like the games) it is and how well the parodying is done. If it can be like Seto no Hanayome in that it uses a really bad story as a parody device, then it might be alright.
Definitely wouldn't get your hopes up for it. AOTY? Not likely.

At least the budget is well spent on mech fights (i have no opinion on the decency though).
