The obsession switch happened immediately after the stabbing. (They were even talking about the stabbing in the chat). Since the beginning of the episode, the reporter has been pretty obsessed with finding out about Shizuo.
Hence, we see a desire from mother ---> shizuo. That is not to say the slasher personality has somewhat transferred from one person to another. At this point in time, I don't really have much to go by.
This raises up another question. Shingen was at one point, the owner of the cursed sword. I wonder if he was obsessed enough to have cut the link.
What I don't really get is why the slasher is obsessed with Shizuo. Up until this episode the spam was just about "mother", but all of a sudden Shizuo gets mentioned for no apparent reason. Another strange thing here is that Shuji actually became the slasher or something. Not sure what's up with that. Other than getting attacked, is he in close proximity with saika or something?
Edit: Oh yeah, about that video: I couldn't find anything on youtube or on nico nico douga, so I think you might be out of luck. Honestly though, I didn't think the performance was that good anyway.
lol you did some weird stuff there with the tags... Anyway, I probably didn't explain it enough in my post as I was distracted by Proleague so here's a working theory:
Saika doesn't necessarily have a true personality of its own. Instead, it possesses people and takes in their personality into its own. The obsession with Shizuo in episode 15 stems from Shuji's obsession with Shizuo.
As for how Shuji got possessed, it's probably a result of being stabbed by the Slasher. Shuji definitely didn't have Saika with him, and there was a scene that clearly showed that all Shuji had was a kitchen knife. I think this is the first person (other than Celty, but she's not human), who's been attacked and lived. It could also be a result of Shuji's connection with the current possessor of Saika, his daughter.

I think I quoted you and wrote over the stuff in your spoiler or something equally retarded. =/

Well, I'd assume that it's not like a disease that's indiscriminate. Saika possesses who it wants to possess. It might also only possess those with strong desires or regrets.
And as for which subs... Dunno. We'll see now won't we

That seems like a pretty reasonable assumption. Heh, imagine hundreds of saikas running around at once. Do you guys think saika itself has a goal? And I don't mean the user, I mean the sword itself.
This song just came on on my last.fm radio, and I'm 99% sure I've heard it before in an anime. Does anyone know which one? It's driving me crazy.
Joe Hisaishi composed alot of music for alot of anime's like Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke but i think that song is specifically for that movie Kikujiro.

Also, yay LB!
You should wait, of course. It seems like we'll be getting some answers (or at least some hints or red herrings) in the next 2-3 episodes. Of course, they could be dicks and leave us hanging for 9 episodes, but who knows.
Unfortunately, only two routes have been translated so far, and agth is being retarded. Oh well, the main story's supposed to be ~25 hours regardless. But why the heck are all these minigames so friggin' hard? Also, watching Rin get beat up by Sasami Sasasegawa every single day is almost as bad as repeat again...
Oh, manga from April basically ended the buildup for Broken Blade, they should be moving onto the meat of the story now at last with Lygatto finally getting a good reason and with all the characters in the right places.
EDIT - This is for Southlight, omg Verita has a money redistribution thing between the two on second play, yes I don't have to grind for $$$ now <3
