oh... I ended up reading the manga

Currently downloading Rainbow and Arakawa
hope they are good :<

I just finished watching Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~.... i really enjoyed this anime from 1-25 but last episode was just so bad with wtf ending
+ Show Spoiler +I think they did a Code Geass ending leting the viewers decide what happened ... did they both die or just Reiji heck i even thought Lelouch killed Reiji while CC was driving the cart LOL
Well next on my list is Mononoke .. I think this will be awesome because i watched Ayakashi Horror tales and the last arc was so amazing. Feels like it will be similar to Mushishi which i liked alot.

In the VN in that route I believe neither die; the anime tried to make things sad by killing one (or both?) off. Just think of it as the anime trying to be all cute and dramatic at the end, and figure both lived, because that's what was supposed to have happened o/
>_>

Requiem for the Phantom, i loved that, and you are right its very sad at the end but i think its right to end it like that and im a sucker for the broken stoic story line.
|
Well, currently watching Angel Beats and so far I rather enjoy it.

Strange, I thought the ending was fine, but generally Phantom had some strange pacing. Mononoke is good but it is very weird compared to both Mushishi and Ayakashi. I prefer the latter two, the art and structure of the arcs was a bit unsettling in Mononoke.
Oh and I finally got around watching Durararararara. Most people say it started out badly and gradually got better but I don't agree. Maybe I'm just a sucker for the cultural phenomena of suicide circles in japan but I loved the first two episodes. If anyone could give me a tip of another anime containing those it'd be great. As of now, I've seen Paranoia Agent (it was ep 8 or something), Aoi Bungaku (first arc), Welcome to the NHK. I can't think of anything else. Any ideas?
SZS doesn't count.

By suicide circles you mean the lover's suicide thing or mass suicide groups? I don't think the latter makes much appearance, the former though I can probably think of some appearances outside of novels sooner or later. At the moment everything in mind are in writing form.

Both I guess. 'Mass' is not occurring often, but in the mentioned cases there's usually a small gathering of 3-4 people who meet up. But I was mainly thinking of anime, not novels.
And by the way, are eclipse gg and bss dead now? It might be difficult subbing all the shows of this season if there's no decent groups left now. I guess I should just start watching more RAWs to learn...

Not quite ringing a bell at the moment though, it isn't particularly popular with anime adaptations I think. As for the suicide groups, yeah, the responses are far more enthusiastic than the actual attendance.

They've been releasing super slow recently, but I don't know what's up with that. BSS is still running. They lost their Durarara translator, but have apparently found a new one.

Edit: Can anybody comment on the quality of subs from FFFpeeps? They're pretty consistently fast, but I haven't downloaded anything of theirs yet.

Stuff with the gg tag was released up until April. This was done by the same team, but without the site because the owner of the site decided to leave or something. Since this person was essentially the one who organized everything, the group kinda just fell apart and joined other groups. That was what I heard, at least. I haven't seen gg subs for this season's shows on tokyotosho. You sure they're doing this season's stuff?

Yuiko and Haruchan were the best pair, IMO, I think.
|
That only makes sense, Kurugaya was the top in terms of physical abilities, followed probably by Rin, except she'd just sexually harass Rin. So we default to Haruka

Nishizono and Rin was great. The only other one I've done so far is Nishizono and Yuiko. I'll probably do the rest after I finish off the route.
Holy crap that baseball game was unfair. I was expecting it to be like in practice, but instead, I get some sort of simulation. And fuck you Kengo. Because of you, I have nobody in center field, and that's where the other team hits half their goddamn balls. It took me like fifteen tries to finally get a win. Yuiko and Kyousuke basically carried the entire team. I put them in the outfield, and absolutely nothing gets past them (except for whatever falls in stupid center field). My entire batting strategy consisted of having them land a hit and steal bases. It's practically the only way I could consistently score runs. Rin, Haruka, and Masato sometimes get lucky, but Kud, Riki, and Komari are worse than useless. Also, why is it that every time Rin does a special pitch, the batter gets a hit?
I'm so pissed off. -_-

Hint hint if you try very hard and still fail, maybe it is meant to fail.
No seriously, winning the first baseball game is an accomplishment. Winning the game in the second or third run (after winning once) is nigh impossible for the longest time.

The speed on some of them border on unreasonable. Throwing Rin was complete guesswork, but only took about five tries. The cafeteria was a nightmare, and I didn't even bother with a second attempt. The tsukkomi stuff was okay once I realized how fast it was. Sasasasasasasasa I know totally outclassed me.
Seriously though, I'd lead 3-0 into the fourth inning, then they suddenly get six runs and destroy me. In the game I won I stole maybe seven runs with my dynamic duo and got three more by chance. And it's a good thing I did, since the other team once again got five runs in the last inning.
