Nice sig, xDark.Carnivalx. I mentally read it in Yui's voice. ![]() Edit: By the way, I saw this elsewhere on the Internet today. It's doubly relevant in this thread. + Show Spoiler [There is a noticeable lack of ridiculo…] + Tenshi isn't an angel. She was just a normal, Korean girl who was an avid Starcraft player and died/fell into a coma after an excessive play session. Due to her obsession with Starcraft, she lacks the skill to socialize with others. This is the reason why she's always alone and nobody likes her. In her life, she was a huge fan of the Protoss. For this very reason, she styled her weaponry after the Protoss: * Hand Sonic (Psy Blades) * Distortion (Protoss Energy Shield) * Delay (Zealot Charge) * Harmonics (Hallucination) To her, the SSS is nothing but a bunch of evil Marines who must be slain - for Aiur! lol, that would totally rule. They sure like to change the OP a lot; I actually like that.

I did NOT sign up for a slice of life with this show. What did I sign up for? In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the otherhand, Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers. At least the first three episodes got shit moving. My God this show is like Railgun but worse. It mixes drama with comedy in a way that just deflated the situation first two episodes, did a much better job separating drama and comedy in episode 3, and is now reverting to slapstick comedy episode 4. No plot movement, no character advancement. This episode just... exists. I'm extremely annoyed at this show that can't even figure out what it's supposed to do. Ugh ok, that's /rant. I guess the most interesting part about episode 4 is the new rock remix of the OP. I can't say that it really worked for me, but I'm amazed that they switched out the OP 4 episodes into the series. I thought it was really cool at first, but that was before I went back and realized that 90% of the scenes were still images. Still, it looks very fluid, and I'll applaud PA works on that. I just have one question, did Yui's seiyuu actually sing the remixed OP? And on the topic of Yui... I don't like her ![]()

And sometimes it's good to make you at least get to know and like the characters a bit before it drops stuff on you.

Railgun filler barely expanded the characters at all. All they did was made me bored. Swimsuit episode? Yawn skip. Maid episode? Yawn skip. Completely useless filler almost never works. The exception I suppose would be Haruhi, but I can't honestly say that it was completely irrelevant so.... I learned more about Misaka and Kuroko as their behavior was integrated into the plot. I saw happy-go-lucky Misaka, serious Misaka, cute Misaka, cool Misaka, etc. What do I see in fillers? Two trope Misakas: Embarrassed and Angry (Probably more but that's all I can think of right now).

God that reporter guy has bad luck. The entire episode basically consisted of him getting thrown around/injured by everyone. Next episode looks very promising in terms of finally getting answers as to who the slasher is. So BSS lost their translator for Durarara? yeah the last part really made me feel kinda sad for him :/ I'm pretty sure the slasher is that reporter's daughter and I think that the same girl is the person who the Kida mentioned to that teacher who was talking to Anri

It's almost certain now that the Slasher is Niekawa Shuji's daughter. The one who attacked him outside of his house looks exactly like her, and the next episode preview pretty much confirmed that. We've also seen her on a laptop in the beginning of the episode, so she's probably the one spamming up the chatroom. If there's something interesting about the Slasher, it's that he/she/it doesn't seem to necessarily take on a personality of its own. The only real personality of the Slasher that we know of is known from the chatrooms. The two words that have been spammed over and over are "Mother" in previous episodes, but in this episode it became "Heiwajima Shizuo". Haruna must certainly feel lonely considering that she only lives with her father, and she must feel abandoned considering her father is always out and about trying to get stories. Thus spamming "I want love. Mother. Mother Mother Mother etc." In this episode the obsession that Shuji has with Shizuo has manifested itself in the chat... And now I'm getting totally distracted from this post by Proleague so I'll just end it here.

Up until this episode the spam was just about "mother", but all of a sudden Shizuo gets mentioned for no apparent reason. Another strange thing here is that Shuji actually became the slasher or something. Not sure what's up with that. Other than getting attacked, is he in close proximity with saika or something? Edit: Oh yeah, about that video: I couldn't find anything on youtube or on nico nico douga, so I think you might be out of luck. Honestly though, I didn't think the performance was that good anyway. ![]()
