Otherwise the series isn't too particularly impressive, well, I like having a large amount of light readings handy to digest technical readings, so it along with Accel World and Seiken no Blacksmith are still somewhere on my list of read if I am ever so bored.That series will probably see animation eventually imo, they did get out audio drama already. Probably should take a look to see who did the voice for Kirino. You can jab him more then :D That would only be a matter of time once one starts buying figurines~ Last time I warded off the temptation to buy the Shiki one due to...what was it even, exchange rates, right, I don't even have that excuse now since I just bought a ton of books even while the FX sucks so much TT | ||

I don't know if I like Accel World but I kinda like Sword Art Online, it's interesting. I must admit I downloaded Oreimo and took a peek, but I wasn't enamoured and put it on the backburners. Speaking of "novels," have you read Oretachi ni Tsubasa ha Nai? Loved that VN. First chapter was bruuuuuuuuuuuuutal to read, though. It almost made me want to quit >_< | ||

Navel's right? That one is on my all too long list of backlogs, I am just trying to get through Ikusa Megami for now and hopefully have some time left to read the latest Akatsuki no Goei, which might actually have plot. Maybe, hopefully. You know after the game and the first fandisk failed to have plot (or rather, feels like the first release of Dies Irae where the script writer like ran off halfway), you'd think one would give up Oh, who was Sword Art Online's author? I look at that title and feels like I should know it but somehow not ringing a bell. EDIT - Oh, right, Accel World guy. Accel World just really didn't leave too much of an impression for me, a pleasant read, about it. I look at the amount of things I have sitting on hd waiting to be read and shudder >< | ||

Yes, Navel's one. Fabulous read, one of the best (if not the best) of that year. If you get to it, try to endure the first chapter. It's painful, but worth it, and necessary. Playing VERITA? Still downloading that, and SC2/LoL is killing all my gaming time ;; How is it? I thought the battle system in Zero was quite nice, and the story was really f-ing good in Zero. | ||

I think I should have it on hd, or maybe it was one of the ones that got caught up in the chain of head crashes I had last year. I'll check when I get home. Dumping SC2 for Verita, I was sharing an account with friend and we managed to get it bumped to plat like the day before torrents showed :D I think that marks a good point to stop the more obsessive laddering. Verita so far is excellent gameplay wise, it is actually harder than Zero by a fair bit imo. I took some time going around clearing optional stuff and still finds myself rather hard pressed. Defense rounds seems to be imperative as it is last game, and カーリアン has a move to cancel opponent's charging skill, soooo good and so necessary in boss fights. Plot wise, well, only up to chapter 4 at the moment, it is more or less still tying up the ends from Genrin 2 and didn't quite got to its own thing yet. We'll see where it leads. I can't remember though, did Ikusa Megami 1 and 2 hint at who...um, Loki, I think, is a reincarnation of? Zero's end kind of suggested something, but not quite as concrete as Verita made it. Oh, you getting the DC version? Know if they managed to patch the usual problem with Eushully's DCs in the nonstop error message? | ||

There is a story contest DengekiBunko holds, and it awards three winners. I believe all three winners get their stories published, and that's how they get their foot into the light novel scene. It's a tad different from how publishing is treated in the US. That's why pretty much every LN comes out with a "dengeki winner" etc. Because by default 99% of newbie authors are winners. SAO wasn't that much more impressive than Accel, but the main character was interesting enough. Seemed a bit of a .hack// derivation to me, but it wasn't bad. Certainly felt less stereotypical than Accel, but that's fairly obvious - Accel's the normal fat-ass dork becoming the knight for a girl. SAO is more like Diablo Hardcore meets .hack//sign. Edit: I've been DLing in the DC version, if it doesn't work I guess I'll have to buckle up and get the full >_< | ||

I'll probably look around for SAO I guess, for now I am just wondering how many routes would actually be possible in Verita and how much time I'd need to sink in >< EDIT - 8 gigs hurt. | ||

I'm enjoying this seasons anime, though I'd be perfectly happy with just Angel Beats and K-On s2. Rainbow seems interesting, and Hakuouki is okay so far. Arakawa is probably my favorite, which was a surprise given I knew nothing about it beforehand, not to mention that the OP is really awesome too. | ||
