The Straw Hats would know everything, all the time; so how would we the reader be told? If all characters know everything they have nothing really to drive them nor any conflict, it would just be going through the motions.
Yup. That's the big reason against her joining. Luffy wouldn't allow her onboard for fear of ruining his fun.

or he may have lost it when he was a toy
I actually just reread some of the Dress Rosa Chapters and I think you might be right but I'm not necessarily wrong lol
http://www.mangapanda.com/one-piece/721/9 Here during the Doflamingo invasion he fends of Diamante and although it's a bit unclear he still seems to have both legs.
but on the next page already when he brings Scarlet's corpse to Rebecca he only has 1 leg left so technically Doffy could have still chopped it off during that night xD http://www.mangapanda.com/one-piece/721/10
The feels were what this chapter was all about it.
I'm starting to slowly warm up towards the idea of Rebecca joining the crew. I still doubt it will happen, but more and more, the pieces of joining the crew are starting to come together.
Oda has doubtless set it up this way.
That's what so good about One Piece. In game of thrones for example no one has plot armor (well almost no one) and people are killed off without second thought, which gives it a certain entertainment value (obviously got isn't only that, but bear with me). On the other hand, here we have very solid plot armor for the crew and less solid plot armor for everyone else. Whereas some might see this as the opposite of entertaining, since there's little suspense, we're all 99% sure that everyone from every crew is going to survive. However, ever since ace's death, I've come to realize that thick plot armor means that every death is much more meaningful. I think Oda also realizes this.
Also noteworthy is that regardless of whether or not die or live isn't the most interesting aspect of One Piece. There are plently of questions we're all dying to have answered. Next crew member? Mera Mera no mi? Sanji going 1vs ship full of yonko crew members? Will the dwarves get a brain? How is Fujitora going to break the Shichibukai? SABO?!
I hate jumping on the who's the new straw hat boat but rebecca has some promise. Blunt sword and doesn't kill so thats a sure fire way to get in since its a very odd way to fight. More back story and crying, more over she has a really important father. She may be royal blood but there's a princess ahead of her for the throne.
"i don't know what happened, a duck busted through the roof or something"

Yeah I know right? I was also against Rebecca joining..
But the only way she joins is Kyros dying I think. That would be horrible but I think it's going to be the price to pay to defeat DD. I have a feeling that victories will come with sacrifices from now on, or something of the sort.
The biggest questions for me at the moment are: Rebecca joins? Where goes the Mera Mera No Mi?
If Scarlet was the first daughter of King Riku then Rebecca is first in line for the throne. The Crown is always passed down to the first born and then his/her children- Before the monarchs second child.
Maybe people stop hating her for no reason knowing that she's only 16 which would make her the youngest SH if she joins. Chopper is 17 post timeskip now.
I don't think there was any good reason to hate her, shes always been some what interesting. The only off thing is that like most people in one piece either you have the body of a 5 year old or a full grown adult.
one piece has so much darkness, forced slavery without the ability to revoke, all the toys are slaves for eternity, can't even end their own pitiful self? I wouldn't want to be in their position.
This chapter was pretty good. Will probably be a more touching scene in the anime although this wasn't bad. Still quite interesting, looking forward to seeing what is to come.

That'll restore the lost hope Rebecca expressed during the chapter, I'm sure, and give her a crucial morale boost. Not to mention that he's 99.9% the father of Rebecca and got married to her princess mother some time between 20 years ago when he was in his last gladiatorial match and 10 years when he got turned into a toy during Dofla's coup.
It's understandable then why the dwarves put so much faith in him. He's a legend.
Only gripe I had when reading the chapter was Usopp's reaction to the dwarf talking about Soldier-san. "He's just a one-legged toy soldier!" He should know better. They've already told him that every toy was someone. Wouldn't be so unreasonable for him to realise that that someone was someone powerful.
no matter how powerful he was he is currently just a one legged toy soldier who cant beat one of doflas subordinates :/
So? Leo was talking about it on a basis of operation sop needing to be a success, i.e. what would happen after the toy soldier had been turned into a human.

What makes you draw that conclusion?
Idk instincts :D .. no logical reason really .. i just feel he is about to die later on..
He won't die. Pell didn't even die during the alabasta arc. It's not oda's way to kill off someone like that...ace aside.

The biggest reveal was rebecca being 16 with those boobs!...Now get those sexy thoughts out of your head.
