The source, answered by Oda himself. Though it is still hypothetical, as Enel has yet to come back after Sky Piea, but it is undeniable Enel is pretty overpowered.

It CLEARLY says the slash was just meant to measure the distance between him and Whitebeard. It wasn't an attempt to harm Whitebeard in any way. He just wanted to find out if he was 600 feet away or 700 feet away. Too bad Jozu interupted the slash, so Mihawk will never know.

But yeah, the Goro Goro no Mi is pretty strong. Enel is not that strong though. What sort of logia blindly assumes he can never be damaged?
I don't mind Enel discussion. The only reason I want him back is to explain him. Honestly one of the most boring villains thus far, because not only did he not represent anything (like Crocodile and Lucci did), but he wasn't a well developed villain (like any villain with a backstory or motivation I can understand).
If he comes back, it'd be interesting, because it's Oda. I'm pretty ambivalent to it though, because he was honestly quite dull. I'd rather see Don Krieg come back tbh.

Enels DF and Kizarus DF are kinda like Ace and Akainu. similiar elements, but Kizaru/Akainus element is simply stronger.
Again, LOADS of people have Logia/paramecia Devil Fruits with elements that would be immune to lightning.

Akainu's fruit has yet to be shown to enable flight. He may have said said his fruit is stronger, but I find it as likely to be just a badass oneliner the villain(akainu) spouts at his victim(ace) right as he is about to die. It wasn't exactly a scene in which you would resonably expect an explanation about fruit powers. It was Ace's death scene.
Also Lightning has obviously more letter than light and is therefore better. Just as magma has more letters than fire and is therefore stronger. Am I right or am I right? (btw, I'm not serious about this last sentence)
Lightning and Sand are the only logias so far that has shown a natural weakness to something non-Haki related (Crocodile becomes tanglible when he comes into contact with moisture and Enels lightning is useless against any non-circuit element)
