Season 1 (17) Season 3 (9) Season 4 (7) Season 2 (3) Season 5 (2) 38 total votes Your vote: Favorite Game of Thrones season? (Vote): Season 1 I just started rewatching the series for HYPE! reasons and am curious what everyone's favorite is? Season 1: Favorite season, I love introduction and discovery. Helped by the strength of Ned, Robert and Carl Drogo characters. Season 2: Least favorite season. Liked Tyrion as Hand and Arya at Harrenhall. Hated Dany as "where are ma dragonz!?" in Quarth. Meh to Robb, Theon, Jaime and Jon's storylines in the north. Blackwater an acceptable climax. Season 3: Liked the Adventures to Jon and Ygritte. Liked the plight of Theon(fuck that guy). Meh to Daenerys esteros story(liked it better the first time through). Worst season for Arya IMO. Riverlands was boring for me. Kings Landing political intrigue was great, Tywin, Olenna, Varys and Littlefinger were amazing, actually the whole cast other than Sansa and Shae was entertaining. Red Wedding a better climax than Blackwater. Season 4: Second favorite Season. Liked Kings Landing again especially Oberyn who proved to be a scene stealer. The adventures of Arya and the Hound was fun. Sansa character growth in the Vale was desperately needed. Esteros and Bran stories were weak but not unbearable. Meh to Castle Black and its wildlings attack climax. Season 5: Sansa and Tyrion were my favorite storylines. Stannis crossing the line and resulting conclusion was powerful. Second worst Daenerys season. I'm still torn on Faith Militant and Kings Landinng, mostly because the presence of Tyrion, Tywin, Varys, Sansa and Joffrey were sorely missed. I'm also having a difficult time judging Jon as Lord Commander and the Wall plots. The Dorne scenes were godawful and actually took away from the show a whole. May need even more time before judging this season. Basically what you are saying is Dany is boring as hell...if thats not a perfect description of her I don't know what is.

Fookin Legend + Show Spoiler + any Knight any time == 4 >>> 1 > 3 > 5 > 2 1 was so good in it's slow escalation in kicking off the series. I didn't even know what ASoIaF was, originally I just thought this series was LotR with titties but it turned out to be so much more. Immediately went out and bought the books when Ned's head came off, couldn't wait after that. 3 is solid but most of the meat came from the Red Wedding. Without that it'd easily drop below 5. 5 had some really stupid moments (Sand Snakes I'm looking at you) but some amazing ones as well. That ep with the Walkers was a contender for best in the series and Cersei's walk of shame was glorious. Oh and let's not forget the tragedy of Stannis' story. 2 wasn't really a bad season but there has to be a loser here. Dany's awful arc just drags it down too much. Literally boats and dragons. At least it had what's probably still the best ep in the series (Blackwater).

4 was really the only season where most plot lines were badly handled in comparison to the books (with the exception of Drone, which is a disaster). In particular, King's landing, the Wall and Meereen were all not very interesting. Sure, there was a very well done battle that lasted a full episode, but the build up to it was not that great. Or maybe I'm just biased because it's the first season that has to invent its own plots and doesn't follow the books faithfully. User was warned for this post

Cause if they're slaves they look way too happy lol like "yay im on a GoT set" happy. Don't think they're slaves, but even if they are, slaves were not miserable their entire lives, despite most having a pretty miserable life. I'm sure even a Dothraki slave would be happy to be reaching Vaes Dothrak and get off the road and some (relative) peace and quiet.

Brienne comes out of the wilderness and kills them all (from the trailer). Then Sansa meets up with Stark loyalists (again from the trailer) and builds an army. Maybe Brienne will be her battle commander? Maybe they'll team up with Stannis and the remnants of their army? It looks like they're going to have a big fucking battle with the Boltons (from the trailer, again) so I am HYPED for that. Literally it's Werewolves vs. Vampires.
