We went from a storyline to the random adventures of dexter. The series was carried by good acting on the part of Michael C. Hall and good writing for his character (obviously Trinity and big moments like Rita's death helped). Honestly, when I show this program to my grandchildren I'm going to lie to them and tell them that there is no seasons 3,5 and 6. Sort of like star wars. There was some of Quinn suspecting Dexter last episode. He questions Jamie, she says that she heard Sal raising his voice but nobody else, then when he questions Dexter, he says that he was the one shouting, and Quinn gives him a suspicious sort of look. Jaimie says she doesn't recognise the voice. I think you imagined the suspicion.

The data still remains on the disk until the space is over written. If we want to be really anal, we could postulate that as a member of the forensics department Dexter would be aware of that possibility. Edit: There is no real point to this. I usually cringe at anything tech related during movies and tv as the writers seldom get the details correct. It was just used to show Dexter is looking out for Hannah. Debra has access to Pearce's notebook / tapes / paper evidence anyways so we should treat it as a gesture of appreciation. didnt he use Shredder? I'm a complete Mac noobie but this seems like a good software description of something that would get rid of the files or good, technically. http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/business/shredder.html

it was done only to show that dexter and yvonne were looking out for each other. the author was goign to be dead anyways so the details dont matter. its like how in walking dead, drama happens because of drama freaks acting with their emotion but it kinda works out in the end

Best season since 4. I agree 6 was pretty good recovery from 5, but all these twisting problems and plots that are eventually gonna steam roll into each other..... it didn't hit me till after the episode this Sunday but I was like "DAMNNN this is actually a GOOD season"

I mean he really only seemed to drop it when he knew Dexter tampered with evidence for him, which personally would make me more suspicious but Quinn isn't exactly a boy scout. Quinn knew that Dexter saved his ass with the whole Liddy thing. He won't be bothering Dexter again because of it imo. I'm really surprised Isaak is so willing to meet with Dexter so many times without killing him. I guess what he said about them is true. "We could have been great friends under different circumstances." Either way, time for special tactics to take on Dexter for real.

I googled this but can't find anything. Is this related to real life or part of the episode? Part of the episode. Dexter some files from an author's computer, and the previous poster is commenting on the fact that scenario is unrealistic because any professional writer would have at least one backup. He neglects to mention that this problem solved itself later in the episode. What's wrong with you? It doesn't even matter if there are backups are not. The fact that Dexter thinks "I'll delete these files and that'll destroy his book" is ridiculous. He's obviously an intelligent person who's very proficient with computers. Why would he think that? There's a difference between optimistic thinking and common sense. He doesn't even seem to think of the possibility of a backup. He works in a lab. That's just clearly ridiculous. Case 1: Dexter does not delete the files. They are backed up. Result: The files remain. Case 2: Dexter does not delete the files. They are not backed up. Result: The files remain. Case 3: Dexter deletes the files. They are backed up. Result: Minor inconvenience. Case 4: Dexter deletes the files. They are not backed up. Result: The files are gone. Now, Dexter is sitting at the computer in front of the files. What should he do?! You should add to that the fact that he was going to tell that he was in the apartment anyways AND the guy already knew about dex and hanah so he wasn't giving away any extra information by deleting the files. Now you see that deleting the files was the best option. It was all gain at no cost(well except the minute that he stayed at sal's place longer)
