In hentai, the guys always act shy as fuck and the girl is the rapist/sexual aggressor. The guys always act like they don't want it, and that they are reluctant about the girls fiddling with their penises. In real life, a guy who acts like that sort of pussy is never going to get the girls - if anything, it makes the girls lose attraction. But the writers of hentai know this, they know that the people purchasing the hentai are probably sexually frustrated 20+ year old men who never got the girls in high school and think it's unfair that because they weren't confident like the jocks that the girls never noticed them or showed them any sort of sexual interest. So they live their lives vicariously through hentai. Likewise, in the last episode Korra tells the guy she likes him. Korra makes the move to kiss him. This doesn't happen in real life. In real life, if the guy doesn't express his feelings or make the move, the girl will think he's a fucking loser who doesn't have any balls. So the creators of Korra obviously made it like this so that all the teenage boys watching it will be like: "Fuck yeah, this is the life." Little do they know that they're going to become 20 year old virgins in the future because they spent their time watching anime and playing computer games instead of sport. Lol this has to be one of the funniest posts Ive seen in a while. Bravo sir, bravo

This isn't a adult anime you're watching here, even if the fighting animation is great and the plot can be somewhat serious don't forget this is a cartoon for kids.

I also didn't like 4 that much because Korra's outrage at Asami and Mako's relationship felt a little forced, while the romantic vinettes in 5 were much more seamlessly done, if a little over the top. Thirdly, I've always thought the characters in the Avatar universe were enriched by their interactions and, with the exception of Zuko, less interesting alone. An entire episode of Korra pretending to be Batman deviates from the precedent set by previous episodes and just doesn't sit right with me. EDIT: Unrelated, but I thought this was a fairly interesting observation from the wiki about Asami: Her design is very similar to Lust from the anime series Fullmetal Alchemist.

Neither were stand-out episodes, and neither were particularly opaque, but episode 4 was incredibly homogenous (Korra sulks for 30 minutes) and almost too transparent (who honestly didn't forsee Korra breaking down crying at the end?). I think the 'moral' of episode 5 was a little more potent, as well. EDIT: Unrelated, but I thought this was a fairly interesting observation from the wiki about Asami: Smaller boobs, but then again shes only a teenager, this shows made by Americans instead of Japanese people, and it's on Nickelodeon. I thought she resembled June from TLA, that girl who rides that giant animal that can track things and paralyze people.

It was so damn boring it helps me appreciate Korra so much more. I dont know, Ty lee was awesome to watch especially on the beach 0_o

Essentially forcing a kiss onto Mako after sort of leading Bolin on and doing all of this while knowing that Mako is in a relationship. She just comes off as an inconsiderate ass. Even at the end of the episode I didn't feel like her character had grown a significant amount. I hope that over the course of the series she becomes a little more likable. My favorite character right now is probably Bolin.

Also they already had a character similar to Asami's design in the Last Airbender. http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/June

A possible plot developlment is that Katara dies soon. In The Last Airbender Book 1, Episode 14 - The Fortuneteller Katara goes to see Aunt Wu who (in her second reading) says "you will quietly pass in your sleep after having your third great grand child". Tenzin already has three children and Pema is pregnant with a fourth.

You could type "Legend of Korra Episode 5" in google and try watching it online. Or you could download it as a torrent. It's a shame really, I neither can watch it on nick.com and that seems to be the case of many people.
