Yeah I think thats a good thing. Pro-bending is really just a great way to get the characters developed.
+ Show Spoiler + Bolin dominates the tourney match and head to head but Mako still gets the girl. ;_; bolin is the best.

also i think we can all predict that Korra and that asswhole from that rival team will go in the sudden death match that was introduced this episode. Was it established what element that guy was? i don't think he had blue, green or red eyes so I'm not sure...douesnt really matter i supose, Korra will probably adjust her element to do sudden death with him.

Sigh, can't have a show on nickalodean without the cheesiness, I guess it's a necessary evil. Other than that, I'm kinda surprised how fast the pro bending plot is moving while the whole air bending plot isn't going anywhere. Sure, Korra knows some sweet acrobatics, but she can't even make a simple gust of wind.

Well, Korra joined the team mid-tournament. Remember there last water-bender quit. Then they had to pay in order to get to play in the "Play-offs".

One of the things I really loved about the original series was the episodes that you took to bed. I haven't really had any of those yet, but to be fair season one of Aang's series was also imo worse than the second season, and upon further review, the third season in my opinion. Azula was an amazing character. + Show Spoiler +This current antagonist in the bending tournament looks like a rich snobby kid, but they didn't expand on his character any more than that.
