I don't see why this show can't extend beyond a third season if it maintains this level of quality per episode.

So far we've only scratched the surface of Spartacus' actual revolution while we spent a season and a half just focusing on the house of Batiatus.

I think Starz could definitely stretch the series past a third season if they wanted to. There's enough content there.

The 2 latest episodes quality-wise seem like a whole different-series altogether when you compare them against the first 3 episodes of this season. It's almost like they fired all their bad writers and replaced them with top notch people. Amazing.

I agree, the last episode was awesome. Probably up there with the Theokeles episode, the last episode of S1 and the last episode of S2.

Gay kiss made me laugh and also disgusted to some extent. That guy has enough charisma and looks to actually bone probably any woman he would want at the Spartacus camp, yet he went for a....Syrian guy?

But oh my god... no words for this episode, truly epic stuff. Even the action sequences in the arena battles were great, and they've sucked this season. This episode had me screaming like a gladiator so many times I'm a bit embarrased.

Oh my God I thought that was just me. My heart was pumping that entire time, and I just couldn't stop laughing with those seats falling down. It looked like a cartoon LOL.

Yeah the graphics were ridiculously bad. I keep on staring every time the scene cut to the stands collapsing trying to see if I was seeing it wrong. They fell in giant squares, but the episode was pretty awesome. This season is off to a slower start than the first and with only five episodes left I'm a little concerned.

You could, just be warned that the first 3 episodes are not that good. Also I could see you starting from Gods of the Arena (prequel to S1) and still be ok.
