I'm almost through Protect The Boss and there are very few legit comedy moments in there tbh. If you really want to laugh, watch Lie To Me or My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho. Or The Greatest Love if you can appreciate the greatness that is Cha Seung Won.
lol it isn't THAT funny, I mean, you will not DIE OF LAUGHTER but the way it mixes comedy with romance between the characters (which are what i like the most) it's quite funny and enjoyable to watch. Oh, I'd like to clarify that this is my very first drama EVER, and I'm convinced that it was the best start since after this, I just..want to keep watching more and more lol By the way, I was actually thinking which of those watch (Lie To Me & My girlfriend is a gumiho), I have now 4 more episodes to go of PTB so yeah, meanwhile maybe you guys can tell me which one you liked the most? :D
Watch My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho. General consensus is that it's good. Shin Min Ah is frikkin' adorable. That drama is what got me addicted. Just watch that. Can't go wrong.
Oh and if anyone likes some action in their dramas... Highly recommend City Hunter.
...Really highly recommend it. Guys/Girls are easy on the eyes, production was good, story was pretty good. (I can be pretty picky when it comes to story. Like I found Shining Inheritance to be just intensely frustrating at times) Out of all the kdramas i've watched this one has had the most satisfactory plot. There's action, romance, cute/funny moments. Can't go wrong.

Edit - Dream High as a series is pretty good. It also has Suzy from Miss A and Taecyeon from 2PM. I'd say maybe 7.682/10 for me.
I'd go with this, it was one of my first Korean Dramas. It's a bit cheesy at times but c'mon Eunjung+Taecyeon+IU+Suzy = so good. And the rest of the cast was good too ^^

Didn't really like it. Besides the Idols there was literally nothing good about it. Bad acting, bad plot, etc. I'm not particularly a big fan of any of them either so it was a miss for me.
Suzy doesn't know how to act unfortunately. They tried to give her a character that only has one facial expression (remember those "This is my face when I congratulate", "This is my face when I'm happy" moments?) but instead of working as a trait of her role it is just obvious bad acting. And bad acting, when not concealed successfully and actually perceived by the viewer, is absolutely cringeworthy.
Taecyeon is kinda bland, too.
I also felt that the plot strings themselves were badly written (agree with DystopiaX there).
On the bright side, so many of the side roles were really good. The whole IU-Wooyoung story was absolutely cute, and their teacher was an absolutely sympathetic person with decent acting. Plus, JYP was good for some laughs - he's just such an awkward personality.
The drama relies way too much on a) the popularity of its idols instead of actual acting proficiency and b) the aspect of "becoming a Hallyu star" that all the girl viewers can identify with instead of an actual well-written story.
I'm 11 episodes through dream high. IU-Wooyoung story is the only plot related thing I've enjoyed so far. Jason is so cool man.
I don't mind it but I also enjoy movies that incorporate music, not high school musical, think the step up series. Now that I think about it this series reminds me a lot of step up. So-so acting, bad plot, sexy cast, and good songs/dancing.
