Does anyone know which site/team generally makes the best subtitles? When I watch dramas it happens quite often that whole sentences are left untranslated, and sometimes very bad translations make it even impossible to guess what could be meant, e.g. ![]() + Show Spoiler + Ok, bad example. But hilarious nonetheless. The version of City Hunter that I had was impeccably translated. It was withs2 iirc but this site also has translators who aren't doing as good of a job as the one(s) who did City Hunter. tl;dr - best source for subs?

The only other complaint I had with it is that each episode is split into 5 or 6 parts, so you get a little interrupted every 10 minutes or so. mysoju.com is good too. It does the episode splitting too. I probably use mysoju more between the two of these though. Is cutting episodes into 5 or 6 parts common or only on these two sites?

WithS2 is far superior any other site when it comes to translations and Viki is decent. Then we have DarkSmurfSubs, usually they do machine translations from chinese subtitles into english and corrects it afterwards, so if you download the subs before it's like 90% complete you can expect A LOT of faults in the subtitles. I didn't expect to get so involved in it since I've never imagined myself watching dramas. For those that haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and go watch it. 윤은혜 <333 If you liked her there you should watch Take Care of Agassi as well as Lie To Me. Take Care of Agassi was quite a good drama after the first couple of episodes. At first I couldn't stand how over exaggerated the male lead was but he toned it down after a while so it became quite a good drama that actually was enjoyable to watch all the way to the end. Lie To Me is a drama easy to watch but don't expect much story development. It became really stale towards the end but unlike other dramas like Miss Ripley there was something that was interesting enough to keep me watching until the end.

But Cha Seung Won is in it like a total boss as well as Yoo In Na. My Princess: A good romcom even though it's a bit slow, a big plus is that Kim Tae Hee is the lead. Personal Preference: Lee Minho plays a straight guy that's mistaken for being gay and moves in with a girl. Was actually quite good to watch. Protect the Boss: Together with The Greatest Love this is probably one of the more popular romcoms this year. Still have a couple of episodes to go but it's quite nice to watch and there's a good weird dynamic between the lead roles. Secret Garden: One of the more well made dramas within romcoms and definitely worth watching, however I feel like it got overhyped while it aired last year. Take Care of the Young Lady: One of the first korean romcoms I saw and when I could get over the male leads exaggerated acting I enjoyed watching it.

I stumbled upon this movie on Netflix not even knowing it was Korean when I started it but it was really awesome. The movie description made the movie seem like it would be corny and the picture on the cover wasn't that interesting but the plot/story of the movie was one of the best I have ever seen in a movie. Here is the link if you have Netflix streaming: http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Castaway_on_the_Moon/70125342?trkid=2361637

[EDIT]: Just gonna say this. I just watched the first episode and it was alright all the way until the very end. Turns out this drama is about a 25 year old girl liking a high school boy. Not for me. Just a heads up for anyone who wants to know.

As far as romantic comedies go, My Girl (2005) still is one of the best ones out there. It's legit funny, the actors are adorable and the story is well-constructed and not as retarded as in some of the dramas.

Just a heads up for anyone who wants to know. I'm currently on the 12th episode of Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. Although you may think that's what it's about from the first episode, it really isn't. More like the other way around. With a bunch of other things thrown in. I really like it >.< I only just started watching it yesterday (I'm addicted!!)

![]() I had the same problem with You're beautiful. It's supposed to be a real good drama, but I couldn't stand the first episode at all and then stopped. I'll pick it up again once I have time just because I've learned that the first episodes tend to be very deceptive. + Show Spoiler + Edited to replace deceiving with deceptive. But thinking about it, what's the difference anyway!?

The rest of the series is totally different, not as political and dark. Endure the first episode, then watch the second one and if you still don't like it, watch the third too. So sad :'( + Show Spoiler + I hope the ending isn't sad and she can be with the guy in the end. I lob happy cheesy endings. Okay lol nvm WHAT TEH FUCK HAPPENED AT THE END??? WHO WAS THAT WOMAN
