I think there are clearly themes of fate in the manga, but also themes of sometimes being able to beat fate, or to change it because of human actions. The same to me is the Behelit, sure they are almost always subject to fate, but their power is not 100% absolute.
but your assuming all those Behelits have another apostle lined up that they are no longer capable of getting to

cmon guys we all know the skull knight/Gatts/Caska arent bound by fate because theyre supposed to be between the two worlds So their actions can change the course of fate Although the skull knight is iffy cuz of the fight against the egg where his sword got hold back but im sure he has a similar story as Gatts

I'm not assuming that all of them do, but if at least one does, then what I'm saying makes sense.
However, you are definitely assuming that none of them belong to an apostle that is still alive.

I agree, there is a definite thread that some instances of fate being thwarted occur. It is rare, because the "god" of Berserk is so powerful, but it can and does happen.

except im not, im assuming that none of them are currently supposed to be in the hands of someone who is supposed to be undergoing the apostle ritual thing for more power

It been such a long time, I had to re read a few chapter behind to realize wth was going on. I couldnt remember at first why Ricket was even in the town and who those Assassin were. It probably didnt help that I just want to know wtf Guts party is doing. Did the party wipe on a slime mob or what? It been at least a year since we actually know if they even found the elf people. My god I just realize they probably going to spend a year trying to find the elf people and then do some side quest to cure his chocolate waifu.
RIP in sanity

Almost couldn't believe what I was seeing when Erika made her way from the protesting women at a brisk walking pace and actually made it all the way outside so that she could get caught.
What is this writing? It's like Berserk suddenly became Cartoon Network.
|
ya, i kinda hope she dies so rickert becomes tougher
|
Is it me or the drawing was really of poor quality ?
|
Rickert took a level in badass. Erica took a level in dumb.
|
Little girl dies, Rickert becomes the new vengeful main character for the next 200 chapters and in 20 years (our time) he reunites with Guts to take on Griffith.
|
I hope the little girl dies. It was kind of dumb that she decided after watching for a while, to go ahead and pay a visit to a battlefield which I might add is currently on AFLAME. Was there even a reason she decided to go for a walk?

this was beyond stupidity... she doesn't even have the excuse that Rickert was in danger and that she wanted to help

Huh...apparently this Black hair thingy was introduced a while back a few hundred chapter back. He was also one of griffith assassination squad leader or something like that. I just thought he was another random demon.
