I hope he changes Berserk back to what it was originally: a dark, fucked up fantasy. Nowadays it's literally about cute girls doing cute things. They've been on a boat for longer than some of the readers of Berserk been alive. Guts doesn't seem nearly as vengeful and beastly anymore. Berserk has been pussified.

I mean look at his story so far: first he pledges the Baakiraka to the king of midland to save his people. Then he pledges it to the actual demon king because "anything to save muh people!". Now he balks at pledging to Griffith just because he's not human, despite falconia basically being paradise. Guess we need his shallow perspective again as we leave falconia. edit: on the subject of Berserk being bright and sparkly and full of smiling girls these days; seems alot like smoke in mirrors to me. Destruction is only fun if there's something to be destroyed, and this is probably just buildup for that moment. Possibly along with some classic japanese moral dilemma about the value of a beautiful lie versus the grim reality.
