Rickert is just a way to help Griffith's part of the story going faster, while keeping a link with Guts.
The only interesting part of Guts' plot right now is the fact he's gathering allies.

Griffith is only relevant to the story because hes the "final boss" he doesnt have a story anymore, he sold his story to become a godhand and just became a villain the only story he has after that is his part in the storys of those who foil him

So you just want him to become a villain without anything around him, okay I understand why you think those chapters are useless then. I disagree 100% about it, but I understand.

Because him taking down the Emperor wasn't the most important part, at least when it comes to Guts, later. On the other hand, we can catch a glimpse at how Falconia is working and how this is going to be a haven for humanity against the monsters. The fact Griffith is the one responsible for the merger of the two worlds isn't the problem, but if he's to be taken down by Guts, all those humans under Griffith's protection will become free targets. Rickert recognizes this, but still can't accept the fact this haven was built on his comrades' corpses.

And then we get back to that conversation a while back where we already disagreed about Griffith's goal. Remove Griffith and the two worlds are still merged, plus all the strong monsters in check by him are free to act like actual monsters.

That wasn't my question, can you link this please.

|
the issue i think is that the two worlds are one now. Theyre not just closer
|
I think it's only the first two layers that merged. Griffith is only in the physical world because he gave himself a physical vessel. The other God Hand are still stuck in the other layers.

succubus chick was able to somewhat manifest though so stuck isnt the right word

I was asking for a link about Griffith being responsible for the merging, and the fact his death will lead to the unmerging, because as far as I am concerned, Erasme is right, the two worlds are one, and Griffith isn't really the one responsible, it was the sword of dimension slashing Ganisha.
About Slan, the succubus, she could manifest in the old forest mostly because there was a leak (sort of?) allowing her to go through using bowels as a catalyst. Griffith is a more complicated case, it's a possibility that his physical entity right now is a temporary one like Slan in the forest, just more stable. Meaning you could destroy his presense in the real world, but not his existence as a God Hand. Everything is speculation about that part tho. That's why, if you've got real information about it, I'm interested, Forikorder.
And thanks for the pic, Hyperbola, I somehow lost it a while ago.

this shit gets talked about in small bits here and there from meeting the little witch to the latest chapter so unless you want me to basically re-read berserk just to point out waht you should know i dont understand what you want me to do
Griffith is too powerful, hes not supposed to even be in the world in his true form he should be limited like the succubus chick but he was truly born in the world with all his power its influencing things and creating paths for the creatures from the underworld to invade
thats why all of a sudden the entire world is full of monsters and shit like the Sea God are now waking up
