to be fair, those are not the best judges of character in the series.

Then again I haven't slept for a whole day so my sleep addled mind might just have reduced me to bronze league asoiaf theorycrafting.
Well, I don't find her story all that boring, so no, I don't think that would be cool :-p The whole point of Daenarys is that she may actually be the ruler that the kingdoms need, both in terms of having someone competent and not-insane on the throne, and in defending everyone from the white walkers. We're seeing her (probably too long and too slow) development as she's hopefully growing into that ruler.
To be fair to Martin, I think that part of the problem may be that he first envisioned the series being a much shorter trilogy; as things began to grow more than he anticipated, they probably didn't all grow and develop at the same rate. He may have had Dany's plot pretty much figured out, but then wound up adding more and more to the other characters and threads, so by comparison Dany's is just dragging out and taking too long. Now that the dragons are big enough to kill stuff, that'll hopefully change, though. That and the fact that he's running out of time and will have to cram a lot in if he's going to move her all the way to Westeros and possibly the Wall.

That's the beauty of her going mad. No one would seriously expect it to happen so once again GRRM would throw our expectations out the window and likely make something awesome out of it. Either way I just sorta want to see a Targaryen get a bit of fire revenge on the disloyal lords of the Seven Kingdoms just when they think things are settling down.
A war between Aegon and Daenerys would be interesting as well, but I doubt something like that would happen, wouldn't make a whole lot of sense.

Sansa is infinitely more boring than Dany. Dany's chapters are actually quite good in Dance, but the whole "mother of X" thing did get old.
Tyrion also "wobbles" too much; and too many knights are "leal".

unloyal? really? aerys deserved everythign he got
I completely agree that aerys was a total bastard, I just want to watch the world burn a bit more.
Also yes Sansa is definitely more boring than Daenerys in ADWD, I'm just talking about Daenerys because theres more potential for her to suddenly throw some shit in the fan.

Now I'm just ranting.
It's a common thing GRRM does. I can remember at least 5 instances where he'd use a somewhat uncommon word in one chapter and then again within like 30 pages. It's so blatant that I think he might purposefully do it so that we get a sense of how each character perceives language. So much of our perception of aSoIaF culture comes from the perspective biases of the characters.

yeah, I can't give you any links due to forum rules but with some google searches it should be available for streaming at around 11pm Eastern Standard Time. I'm not too good on my timezones but I believe England is 7 hours ahead so that will be 6 am for you I'm afraid.

at least in germany low alcohol beer and watered whine were much safer to drink then normal water so for quite a long time they were more common drinks then water.

It was awesome though.
Not as much as it's going to piss off all the morons who think it's okay to butcher one of the best chapters in the book and who go all defensive when people say it wasn't nearly as good as it could have been.
I thought it was one of the best episodes of the show but I disliked how they executed Daenerys' scenes in the warlock tower and Xaro etc etc. Aside from the Daenerys scenes it was seriously perfect.
Really disappointed with the Warlock tower though, that was one of my favorite chapters in Book 2 and it really didn't live up to my expectations at all, probably the only big disappointing thing I can think of for the entire season.

that part was a HUGE let down, i really liked the set up for the next season, i liked everything else in the damn ep, but the fucking tower man! it has one of the best parts of the book with all the mind fucks that go on and it was just left out
