When I saw Crowley pop up at the end of last episode, I thought he was God, and somehow they were working on something. But that doesn't really make sense with everything Crowley did...

I can just revert to the perfect ending and pretend the rest never happened, hehe. No, you're right of course. I agree too, and I dindt see it ocming either. + Show Spoiler +
Earlier on in the season, though, that one scene where they have both an Angel and a Demon in the back seat of their car... I thought that was the coolest thing ever. I was like 'these two have the coolest fucking allies' Should have kept that team for a little and just kicked some ass IMO.
The thing that bothers me the most is the whole ...stupid thing that I mentioned ealrier. Don't want to give spoilers (even though its in a spoiler :D), but I just did NOT like any of that at all. Thought it was uncreative and poorly executed. I sorta just put all the blame on new Ruby. And again, she's not nearly as pretty. x_x
I mean I think season 6 is about as strong as season 1, but we love the characters now. So I think season 7 totally has the capability to get out of the rut. And yeah if it does suck though, we of course have to acknoweldge its existence, but I'm fine of thinking season 6 and 7 were just America being a corporate money hungry bitch as always.
Sam fucks monsters. He has sex with the werewolf, we think the siren and ruby. What I think the point of those things happening, is to show Sam's a monster too. Which I mean its talked about the entire series, which I think is one of the big themes of the show. I mean its not just as easy as Sam fucking every monster he sees, that just doesnt make sense, but having him be in a romantic relationship with Ruby makes sense in a lot of ways, and accomplishes the goal of showing Sam as a monster. I might agree with you on the execution though.
I have no problem with him fucking monsters. I'd totally bang Ruby1, too. Even if I knew what she was. No, I mean the OTHER thing with Ruby. THAT is what I didnt like. + Show Spoiler +

Errr, well I didnt really mind that. Sam had to do something absolutely crazy that was obviously wrong. And drinking the blood of devil spawn, might just have been one of those things. It explains being able to kill demons, and ties in the original story of Azazel giving him Demon blood.
I dont know, it made sense for me, but I can see where you are coming from.
Julian Richings (who plays "Death") is my favorite character on the show. Does an amazing job portraying his role and I think the scene with him and Dean in the Chicago pizza shop is the best scene in the entire series.
I started watching Supernatural in the past week or so and Im right now in the middle of 2nd season. Really interesting so far ... better than most of the shows that are airing. Im not reading anything in this thread dont wanna get spoiled .

You'll be completely and utterly hooked by that season finale. It is so good.
I liked the show up to the end of season 3. I watched up to season 5 and haven't watched season 6 since i got kinda bored of it (castiel was cool though)

Agreed. Goddamnit it took a year just to finish that season in australia, but by god was it worth it. Shame about the budget thou. IMO the ending was cool, but it really wasn't everything i expected. Oh well, this series is freakin awesome without a stupid CGI budget.

All of the episodes with The Trickster are actually hilarious. That one episode where Sam has to live through the same day over and over, saving Dean only to have him die in a completely different way. Sooooooooooooooooooooooo funny
The last episode I saw... Castiel: "Is it customary to wear a blanket...?"
I wish that they kept it like it was in the beginning. It should have just been them going to random towns and getting rid of ghosts and shit while searching for their dad. Then when they ran out of ideas they could have just made it so they found their dad and lived happily ever after.
I ended up not watching anymore because while still entertaining, the plot that they have now is dumb imo. : /
Season 1 and 2 was really good, then the show started to go downhill. Season 6 has been the weakest so far imo. The writing seems really bad, i feel the storyline is all over the place, with no clear goal.
Also, i hate how pretty much every monster in the univers, is just a guy or girl. I understand theres budgets, but i remember some episodes in season 1 with actual monsters. And those episodes stand out in my memory. I wish they would make more of those.
all my friends are watching this pretty much, but damn the episodes i've seen sucked so hard, almost without exception. There were a couple OK ones, but...

I really think season 3 and 4 are the best... The plot I feel like is just so deep and worthwhile.
The 6th season, I will say is actually pretty bad. I watch because I look for an upturn and the characters are still the characters. I mean Jefferson Starships? Something like that seems vintage Dean. I do feel like they need to fire the writing team or at least have them step it up, because basically you had Kripke writing every episode season 1-5 and they just havnt been able to meet that.
Yeah thats another thing, why was the phoenix a dude? I mean I think it works for a werewolf, but a phoenix, at least do something with its skin have a change or something like episode Metamorphasis.

I loved the first season, the similarity's to the serie X-files made me an instant fan.
However... I dont like the overall story, the MonsterOfTheWeek episodes are really great but the show took a dive after the first season and has never recovered. Supernatural can still field amazing episodes but it is a rare thing right now and to me it has gone from an exiting adventure where Sam and Dean needs to find out what's happened and find a solution into killing as many demons per episode as possible.
I still watch the show but I don't remember last time I watched an entire episode.
