Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

A couple episodes earlier she was talking about whether to let Carl die because the world is no place for a child. And obviously the whole baby daddy drama. From what I remember she is more scared that it is Shanes baby that is why she hasn't told Rick. On November 15 2011 11:25 LeoPenrose wrote: The barn full of zombies feels a little cliche. I'd like to see Maggie sucker Glen into keeping the secret. The barn full of zombies was how it happened in the comic. Although it played out a bit differently. So far I am not really sure what to think on the one hand I want them to progress the story a bit faster and keep the same pace as the comics. There is so much more awesome stuff to happen and in the comic the farm part was pretty short and unimportant. However at the same time its nice they are trying to do something a bit different but I hope they don't go too off-course. I am also worried they won't have the budget to do the next part of the comic justice. Also its strange they have made Daryl such a badass when in the comic Rick was more of a desperate badass and made the tough decisions.

The problem is, if you've been watching for the plot and character progression then it is a) moving on at a snails pace this season, and b) has done very little to develop any character other than Daryl. I'm glad they finally discovered what is in the barn, it should create the necessary tension between the two groups to actually make for some compelling scenes. Please forgive all of us for wanting zombies in a TV series that is based around a post-apocalyptic scenario involving a zombie epidemic. But seriously this last episode wasn't all that bad. I'm actually excited to see the next episode instead of just watching the next episode in hopes that it doesn't suck as badly as the last.

+ Show Spoiler + The group is ticked off when they find out about the barn. They plan to leave, this leaves blonde who can't shoot to receive gun training from shane. The farm is attacked, and the group then decides to leave. I'm guessing a lot of gunfire would draw more walkers into the farms area... I'm guessing only a fraction of herschels group wants to leave. Honestly knowing the show...the zombie attack might be 2 episodes away...they might cliff hanger us...with the walkers coming out of the woods... since its also titled secrets, I'm guessing Otis and the prego Lori comes out... just a thought though.

Interesting... + Show Spoiler + On the one hand, she looks pretty zombie-ish. On the other hand, she's been out in the woods for like 4 days. That would probably result in just about anyone looking like that, pretty badass if she survived on her own. In the comics she's very meek while Carl grows to be the badass, I hope they still go that way in the show.

she's not a zombie. I have faith they will stick to one of the core and primary plots in the book

This season is like watching some soap opera. meh :< Action will be sporadic in this series, not saying what expectations should be met in terms of zombie content, because I'm personally satisfied with the level we've seen in both the show and comics. I'm just giving a general heads up that there will be seasons and episodes with more action and some with very little, if your expectations for this show is an action packed zombie slaying show, then you will likely be disappointed.

I did enjoy the episode alot except the Andrea thing ruined it for me quite abit.. god, seeing as everyone else is retarded aswell they'll go 'hey you just shot one of our own when we told you don't shoot and you said f'it and did it anyways.. know what here have 2 guns! Keep up the good work!' Edit: Calmed down abit, still hate Andrea but it was a good episode, i think the last 3 episodes have been very very good, they got me back into enjoying this series again ![]()

I'm just saying you are expecting something that the heads of the show didn't necessarily set out on delivering every week. As people have said over and over again the premise of the show is the human drama created within the setting of the zombie apocalypse. The interactions between the characters move the show forward most of the time, not the characters' interaction with the zombies. I can understand people who complain that the drama element of the show is lacking and that the producers aren't delivering in that aspect. I cannot understand people who complain saying "WTF I want more zombies!! More action!!" because they should have known that a constant level of zombie attack scenes isn't what the show was claiming to be delivering every single week. Maybe you can complain that the people marketing the show week to week are misleading you but I don't think that's the case at all. What we've seen in the previews and from interviews with the people making the show has mostly aligned with the final product we're watching. This show has faults, but in this respect the fault lies with the people with misplaced expectations, and not the TWD and it's producers.

In the few short periods he has been on the show he has proved to be pretty effective at making you hate him, and there is definitely room in this story for someone like that. I kind of feel like we were originally supposed to dislike Darrel as well, but then he turned out being the most popular character in season 2. I just hope that they don't do something stupid like have Merle come back as The Walking Dead's version of Resident Evil's Nemesis.
