That feels good. No, they actually pretty much provided proof to most of it. They just drafted to run down the other team, so they couldn't disengage cleanly. Ruberband never mattered in any of those games, beside Liquid getting huge bounties from behind and still losing hard, because thats what happen when you are bad and when you're just way too far behind. Your ability to analyze Dota is in major question. Wings' "wrinkle" to their approach around the timings takes advantage of those Rubberband mechanics. In the points where they were even or behind, they'd seek out ganks. That was the entire point of running Invis Heroes almost every game. They played the vision game really well and had a great day. Doesn't change the fact they looked pretty terrible the first two days and they figured out the right timings for the current state of the Meta. They managed to chain together the right games to win it all. Which, at the end, is what you're out to do. Though that's still no excuse to draft Necrophos. serious question here :
so Wings intentionally gave away kills to Liquid in early game ? then mid-late game start ganking to cash in the rubberband mechanic against OD and Spec the best scaling heroes

It's a crime that a team with Iceiceice is so bad in a patch where mid Invokers are everywhere. Maybe there'll be some Game Of Thrones shit between him and Lamn. ;b

You could even argue that BH having track earlier would have made Liquids many early kills more valuable No. Once Bat got his Blink, wings dominated the game. The 2 kills on spectre using the same modus operandi won the game. Track didn't matter at all. Bounty's main contribution in the game was just a mobile ward.
Wings' vision game was massively on point. With some time to process what they were doing, it's actually the key to their wins. It opens up ganking opportunities that didn't exist otherwise. Wings uses an Invis hero (or Beastmaster) rather than some form of the Global Presence Strat, but it's pretty similar to what Secret was doing at the Shanghai Major. Though the timings are a bit different.

What I don't get is this - who's even saying "China is the best"?
I think Azarkon literally cannot comprehend the idea of a spectrum. If you try to say something like "I don't think the Chinese are absolutely worthless trash with no redeeming value" he hears it as "CHINA NUMBAH WAAAAANNN" and then goes crazy.

ya, who is even saying that China is the best, outside of maybe ForTehDarkseid, who is about a 6/10 on the azarkon maniac scale
There's only one person making an extreme claim, over and over again

was that the time when dk used two standins from some random tier 2

But now the bigger problem: who is going to get an invite for Manila?

the buenomancer strikes again
seriously, having a diverging opinion doesn't mean you're something special--that there's something extra going on in your head or that you're more sane. it means that you like to have conflicting arguments and going against what other people say. arguing over the internet is such a stupid activity, and you are stupid for not just admitting that this team simply played well.

And as always, don't forget to mention that the Western teams just obviously weren't trying that hard and will stomp at the next major/TI. a-dog should make this as signature hence he doesn't need to type anymore

Most of the old Chinese players are, in fact, bad and getting worse. They have long been the problem with the region. You could argue that I shouldn't have put them in the same group as the new players. But the new teams were losing to the old teams. By logic, the new teams were even worse, but now we know it's not so simple.
Also what happened to pretending to not read my posts?
