Koreans did it, Miracle's team did it, VGR did it, and now another team has done it. It is what it is. what's the strategy? if you look at their games it was quite varied, nothing that would really persist throughout the games. some abuse of the rubberband though. I think their strategy is to dumpster bad Western teams May I put your quote to my signature. good sir? I mean I wasn't serious there but do what you want lol I really appreciate that, thanks.

Chinese team wins with fresh picks = They just found a loophole in the meta Chinese team wins with old picks = Oh look they can't innovate Unknown Chinese team wins = They won because no one studied them Known Chinese team wins = China has no new blood And as always, don't forget to mention that the Western teams just obviously weren't trying that hard and will stomp at the next major/TI.

China has being histrionically the best region in dota and for good reasons. The recent decline is due to the old burdens not letting shit go but plenty of talented tier 2 will fill the void. anyway, west is still stronger, look at europe's qualifier list and tell me if you don't think so, more tournaments, more professional teams, more players. It would be strange if China still dominates, it doesn't mean China is in shit tier, they will always be competitive, but they never ruled the scene la korean style and never will.

Alc is one thing, the other thing is that they kept getting kills off the Bounty who basically was so underleveled that he gave away close to nothing. On the other hand Wings played the map (with the Bounty scouting out) such that Spec could never farm comfortably at all, getting picked off a few times. The kill score was not at all representative of the situation.

Your ability to analyze Dota is in major question. Wings' "wrinkle" to their approach around the timings takes advantage of those Rubberband mechanics. In the points where they were even or behind, they'd seek out ganks. That was the entire point of running Invis Heroes almost every game. They played the vision game really well and had a great day. Doesn't change the fact they looked pretty terrible the first two days and they figured out the right timings for the current state of the Meta. They managed to chain together the right games to win it all. Which, at the end, is what you're out to do. Though that's still no excuse to draft Necrophos.

Not at all, but it's funny how every one on the forum believed "China is bad" until suddenly they win two tournaments with completely new teams and it becomes "China has always been the best." Forget the last year much?
