I mean, royal roader in Dota 2 is iffy because if we count teams, then we have to count someone with 3 prior TI appearances as someone walking the royal road. As for first-TI-appearance 5 players, there were none in finals before except TI1. | ||

It's a fucking horrible idea when seeding is entirely dependent on luck and tournaments can eclipse the total sum of everything else in a year. Take this tournament for example. Top 6 teams, 5 were in Group B. | ||
