CDEC already has the advantage of not having to play another exhaustive BO3 today. I don't get this. It should be a penalty to lose the bigger the penalty the better. Why are we going over this every single year? It's been like this since the beginning, it ain't going to change. It's a personal preference. People who don't like winners' advantages have to deal with it in other tournaments, the other side has to deal with it in TI.
And "playing some extra games" at such high stakes is definitely a massive disadvantage, and it is intellectually dishonest to compare it to being able to play/scrim for 10 hours on an ordinary day.

China hasn't won a tournament in months, despite there being lots of tournaments in the last few months.
Them not winning again... I don't know about you, but it doesn't make me think China > West, indeed not even China = West.
Sure, they have a lot of top finish. But a win is a win. You don't get to be the best with second, else C9 is the best team in the world.
To which end, I think that were China to lose again, I'm all for West > China.
