anyone gonna be around at home watching this? kirsed and i are going to be live at key arena so we won't be able to post polls for recommended games. would appreciate the help - shouldn't need to do much otherwise.

If I understand it correctly, MVP Phoenix chose to play vs. Newbee rather than MVP Hot6? What do you guys think about that. I find it kind of surprising. Sure it avoids organizational cannibalism but Hot6 went 2-12 in groups and seem to be the weaker opponent.

MVP.P has a poor head-to-head record with Hot6.

Hot6 was able to take a game off Newbee and they can probably bounce strategies off each other as to what to do in a bo1.

First they are always playing sooooooo poor when they play against Hot6. I don't have stats but the head to head has to be hugely in Hot6 favour. Add to that that they are playing under the same organisation and they've shown they CAN win vs chinese teams.

I can honestly see an EG vs Complexity upset. We'll see. EG obviously the more experience team, but Complexity has been playing amazing....but so has EG so i have no clue. I think it's safe to say people are already pissing their pants going against PPD's drafting.

eg respecting c9 enough to pick col was interesting, especially considering how well col played in groups. its good for c9 though dodging eg is their best chance at a deep run i feel

interesting how high quality team will play against techies
as currently techies is a niche unbeatable pick if played by high quality team (EG & Secret, not u CoLololol pfffttt)
so far techies loss only come from CoLololol (pfffttt) against secret
I wonder how EG, Secret, LGD, CDEC will react to techies

I'm not really into CDEC bandwagon
they have a quite easy day 1-2-3 bracket (Empire, underperforming VG & Newbee, MVP) all the "meh" teams
their trial comes in the last day, which is just now against EHOME and EG, and looked what happened...

So excited we finally have our bracket set for TI5. EG have a very tough path to the finals, but there isn't really an easy one. Somehow I wish were in C9's spot instead.. they have a great shot at WB finals if they can overcome LGD.
