I believe EE said on stream last night that the game was originally supposed to be true double elim with bo5's, but it was changed to a single bo5 with 1-0 advantage for EG. And the potential 4 games will be played on 2x USE and 2xEUW. Though EG is bootcamping in Boston so they should have decent ping even to EUW this time.

Eh, it really depends on the mentality of both teams. It's less than a month until TI - neither team is going to be giving 100%, especially for online with server issues. A difference of prize in $70k seems like a big deal but compared to a shot at doing better in TI it's almost nothing.
Honestly wouldn't surprise me if both teams see this primarily as an opportunity to throw off the scouting of everyone who's going to watch these games and try to figure them out.

EG are really heavy favorites. 1-0 advantage and first game is on USE.
