One question though: Which teams are considered the best ones at the moment? Cloud9 were some kind of underdogs, I suppose? C9 is a team composed of internet superstars for the most part. Underdogs known to do stupid shit (hence the nickname Clown9) but sometimes they play outstanding Dota. I hope you keep watching because honestly the third game was really disappointing and lackluster, Dota has so much to offer. Enjoy!

You're clueless if you think that teams perform that consistently. And you're also clueless if you don't look at Alliance's recent results with scrutiny. They won DH against teams playing very poorly. Most of their success is in fact because of their matches against C9. Their strategies were still very limited. On July 21 2014 03:33 Asha` wrote: On July 21 2014 03:32 icystorage wrote: On July 21 2014 03:31 Zea! wrote: Btw, most predictable TI ever, with only Chinese + EG top 4. Well, only real upset could be if the mighty LGD pull it through did you predict alliance not pulling thru the group stage? didn't everybody only surprise is IG blowing it. Are you kidding me? If anyone honestly though Alliance would drop out in the group stage they were just clueless about Dota. Yeah Alliance were not doing so hot prior to TI4 but none of the recent results gave any indication they would have been THAT bad. Overall TI4 has been the most unpredictable TI and its not even close. Anyone claiming otherwise is just straight retarded. I placed Alliance between 6-10th, even if they played as they have recently. And they played much worse than that. The biggest surprises here was iG and Liquid. They placed the furthest from what was expected. ROFL Read what you just wrote: "6th to 10th" There is a HUUUUUGE difference between 6th and 10th and they didn't even meet your worst expectation. How can you go back and say that this was expected? Consistency or not, you still placed them at 10th as a worst case scenario and they didn't even get that far. C'mon, I thought you were smarter than that. And that's not my 'worst expectation'. My expectation is 'somewhere in that range'. If you asked be "what do you think is the lowest they might get" I would say lower than 10th. It's not super surprising. I would however not say Liquid would get above bottom 4, and I wouldn't say iG would get below top 6. ~ I never said Alliance didn't under perform. But they didn't under perform as much as iG did and inversely as Liquid over performed.

I should have rephrased lol. I meant am I a shitty dota fan xD Nah. People tend to support different regions. As long as you don't toss out the stereotypes or don't appreciate when the other team simply played better, should it be the case, everythings fine.

EEzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz game EE being kicked from team in the great shuffle incoming There's no way C9 stay together. EE said he's gonna disappear from dota after TI for a while, Aui has always seemed like he only played support temporarily, and sing basically said anyone not in top 3 are going to disband. W/e, they have enough money to take their time and find a good team after the post-TI break. Anyways, let's go DK and EG. You're going to have to source realllllyyyyy fucking hard on envy saying that because i've watched every interview he's ever done and etc and haven't heard anything like that Yea He's just spitting bullshit. Envy is going to japan for vacation(I think with Lumi) for like 2-3 weeks. We don't know what teams are going to do after TI. With the amount of money the teams make I would be surprised if C9 disbands completely. Maybe 1/2 players shuffle but I wouldn't be surprised if they do stay together. More likely than pretty much any of the Chinese teams(Except the winner) and Na'Vi that they will. Hell even if DK win they will likely disband. lol he's told everyone he's going on his anime adventure after TI, but sure, he's totally gonna stay in the scene while vacationing. Pretty much everyone's gonna shuffle, people are gonna get dropped; C9 definitely not on the short list of not disbanding. Ofc, when I say disband I count 2 core players making a new team like how sigma disbanded and became mouz. The way you define "disband" I guess makes it such that every team would disband besides the winners(and if DK wins, they'd "disband" too) I think as long as the core of a team exists (i.e. Na'Vi's ukrainian trio) you can't say it's a disband
