EE is actually really well respected by the Chinese and you can't deny how much of an impact he's had on this team whether it's through drafting/strategy or just through assembling the players. People forget how "bad" Sing looked before he joined Kaipi and how Aui almost wanted to retire. EE farms really well for the way C9 plays in that they sacrifice him a lot of times so the others can get farm. Also top 8 at this TI was incredibly hard. (something Alliance couldn't do) and he was integral in several of the matches. (The last meepo match, his doom was on point and won them several teamfights along with bone7)

And you're also clueless if you don't look at Alliance's recent results with scrutiny. They won DH against teams playing very poorly. Most of their success is in fact because of their matches against C9. Their strategies were still very limited. I placed Alliance between 6-10th, even if they played as they have recently. And they played much worse than that. The biggest surprises here was iG and Liquid. They placed the furthest from what was expected. ROFL Read what you just wrote: "6th to 10th" There is a HUUUUUGE difference between 6th and 10th and they didn't even meet your worst expectation. How can you go back and say that this was expected? Consistency or not, you still placed them at 10th as a worst case scenario and they didn't even get that far. C'mon, I thought you were smarter than that.

Newbee did a level 1 Rosh against Titan, by your logic they did it because they knew they couldn't win against Titan otherwise. Complaining about non-standard play is one the most stupid and annoying things in SC2 discussions. I wish people would leave it behind before coming here and won't poison this place as well. noya is just one of the least insightful posters here, i get by ignoring him

One question though: Which teams are considered the best ones at the moment? Cloud9 were some kind of underdogs, I suppose? Welcome! Absolutely C9 can be seen always as underdogs, they aren't well liked generally and people enjoy flaming them quite a bit : ). It's hard to say who is seen as the strongest because this TI has been kind of insane with seemingly "lesser" teams showing alot of power. I think the popular opinion is that EG is looking strong to make it to the finals today.

We don't know what teams are going to do after TI. With the amount of money the teams make I would be surprised if C9 disbands completely. Maybe 1/2 players shuffle but I wouldn't be surprised if they do stay together. More likely than pretty much any of the Chinese teams(Except the winner) and Na'Vi that they will. Hell even if DK win they will likely disband. lol he's told everyone he's going on his anime adventure after TI, but sure, he's totally gonna stay in the scene while vacationing. Pretty much everyone's gonna shuffle, people are gonna get dropped; C9 definitely not on the short list of not disbanding. Ofc, when I say disband I count 2 core players making a new team like how sigma disbanded and became mouz.

Not necessarily a bad thing, it's just how some people are. Some just like watching the game others only like watching their teams play.
