It feels like a big clusterfuck to me, the main event barely started and we already have 1 team that's guaranteed top3. :S I love it the groupstage was HUGE also in Newbee's case you can't complain...at all groupstage +pretty much BO3 tiebreakers, 3x BO3 bubble and another BO3 now. 15games 5x BO3 and just WB final

I mean those 3 could easily have been considered but DK was playing nowhere near NewBee's level directly heading into TI. So I would wager that NB was probably considered ahead of DK before the tournament started by a lot of people. And even if NB has a historically losing record against VG, they still aren't an "underdog" by any means. Both those teams have equal chance to win every game, and as we saw in this series it usually comes down draft/execution and who makes less mistakes when it really matters. Things like momentum, which NB had a ton of coming into the games today, can effect a matchup immensely if it's as closely matched and familiar as these 2 teams are. Can't blame VG for picking them though, historical success and nobody "chooses" to play DK if they can avoid it. The word underdog just doesn't fit this situation whatsoever and it's deceiving to viewers who aren't familiar with all these teams outside of their play here at TI4, which on the noob stream is pretty important to not do in my opinion.
