It's way more likely that those two teams are more the exception than the rule. I don't see Alliance and Na'Vi's position in Western Dota to be different than the position of LGD, DK, and iG in Eastern Dota.

That's like calling EG players now and liquid players back in the ogs days korean players I wouldn't say EG players these days are Korean(-trained), because their stint in Korea is lacking in a lot of ways compared to established Korean teams (minus the ones which are struggling). I do think TL back in oGs days should be considered Korean(-trained) though, since afaik they were basically treated as oGs players while staying in the oGs house.

Aside from Alliance and NaVi, once again the Chinese teams have taken majority of the top spots in the Winner's Bracket. And once again after a great start, the Western teams fell from the top spots in their group (albeit closer this year.) This means nothing. Everyone expected Alliance and NaVi to do this well this year and they delivered. Anything else he had said is just feeding the troll.

My point in almost all west/east arguments is that it doesn't matter, it's about individual teams. Arguing which 'scene' is strong is pointless, it's about which teams are strongest. And at the moment, it's very mixed, which is good for dota.
