Chinese tournaments has always invited SEA whenever possible and the recent G1 League invited western teams, plus ACE seems to comply to the players request of more tournaments and maybe lift the restriction of bigger teams only being able to enter certain tournaments with a minimum of X prizepool. Wasn't also Redbull ECL government supported/approved? Also thing to keep in mind that the game was just released over there, as it grows in popularity and with the initial steps taken, let's hope the chinese scene stays healthy.

I don't think many people genuinely dislike Alliance, it's just that favoured teams winning without ever really being in trouble can feel a bit boring, especially for the biggest tournament of the year.

But their execution, their coordination are absolutely beautiful. I'm happy the Chinese teams are out, they chickened out too much this tournament which lead to a lot of boring games. I don't worry for them I think they can reclaim their throne in a fashion way after one year of hardwork. Now I only want to see good games,, the remaining 3 teams are amazing and make a logical top3 from what we've seen.

I'm rooting for Orange to get to the finals, they have been a good team for so long but without the big success stories. NaVi have made plenty of money and plenty of fans already, I wouldn't be sad to see Orange get some of that as well.
