no top 3 is where it hurts though. but yeah, they need more than just scrims it looks like. that's now 3 major tournaments where they haven't been able to get a win.

The scene itself needs to change and that may have to be through more tournaments, traveling overseas, and creating better circuits for new players to enter the competitive scene. They should also go deeper in exploring the game because TI3 really showed how their playstyle does not work anymore. They need more small tournaments with small prizepools to test new strats and heroes. Its much less pressure to try out something new for 500$ than for 50000$, and scrims not actually doing a shit. You must test and perfect strats in a real competitive environment. Alliance were also losing badly with Naga when 6.78 just hit, now look at them.

The fact that this loss was a collective loss rather than a individual loss says a lot... Who knows, maybe CeSPA will be created? Since they're not performing up to their standard in both LoL and DotA. ACE is CeSPA, if you mean the organization that the professional chinese dota teams use for rules, sanctions and tournament organization. They are very arguably one of the reasons why there was an extreme lull in competition this year.

Ohgod i am so glad of that too. Went out last night straight away after DK's loss (friend called just in time), his post would be the last thing i want to read after i came back. I just want Navi to get 3rd place now.

Doubt its going to happen. By denying Orange both Visage and Chen you hamper their capability by at least a half, and Puppey knows it.

Denying Visage or Chen opens you up to lame shit like Batrider/Lifestealer/Weaver/etc. It's not like XTINCT can't play other heroes either. With the way Orange has been playing, I seriously doubt Na'vis chances unless they figure out how to play DotA properly again without having to rely on all-innish/cheesy drafts.

I have a strange feeling they will beat able Na`Vi in LB finals and lose to Alliance in the Grand Final, meh. Anyway, hoping for some great games.

Its not, but the fact is that Orange is a lot less successful when he's not on these heroes, no matter of cores/carries.

Orange doesnt play Batrider particularly well, I'd definitely at least ban Visage even if you have to leave that open. Not entirely sure Chen is worth a first round ban.

On Alliance i was actually becoming a big fan of them before this TI and hearing interviews of S4 where he says he has alot of stuff planned for TI3 and some interesting strategies on a scale similar to the 5 man tp rosh strat and he also stated that bulldog would be playing alot more heroes. Then we get to this event we see boring kotl pl strategies and bulldog for the first 3 days played virtually nothing but natures profit. I think hes played 8 prophet games 1 bounty and 1 lone druid on the main stage. Really hope they show something interesting and fun strategy wise but until they do ill be going for navi or orange who actually alter their picks and try interesting things.

Part of the reason why Orange is less successful when Xtinct isn't on Chen or Visage is mainly because Mushi keeps putting himself on non-active roles when they don't get Xtinct his best heroes. For w/e reason they put Mushi on farm roles when Xtinct doesn't get Visage/Chen, which is silly as fuck. And after watching today, it doesn't matter what hero Xtinct is on really, because ky.xy can make up the slack (vacs/rps).

So don't hold your hopes too high to not be disappointed. Yes, they've been hot today but can be cold tomorrow, it's Orange after all.
