Ugh... just watched game 5 ... avoided it all yesterday.. blah some really bad hesitation and panic just tp-ing in front of the dire base... and Na'vi chased puck too much... i think their mentality of kill the opposing mid (which works fantastically early-mid game) didn't turn off quite all the way and they hesitated between rax, puck, and tp... and alliance didn't TP back like they were hoping...

It could be the language barrier. Remember ever since they had Kky, Na'Vi just can't seem to deal with split push at all.

I think that's a bit of a stretch. They're all expirienced players and something like "I defend top / bot / mid" ain't that hard to understand / say.
Also I find people are nitpicking too much an Na´Vi because of his post. Did you guys forgot who xboct is? He's the proplayer whose troll-level is almost up to par with IceIceIce and that says a lot imo. Also please bear in mind, that just because Na´Vi won TI1 they're not fine with only getting 2nd two times in a row. They obviously wanted to win [who do I need to tell this anyway] And every human gets mad, when he's not getting what he's striving for and so does xboct.

I watched the first time Dota at TI3 and have to say that i really like it. I never would have thought that a dotatype game ("moba" is hated right  ) could be fun to watch, but dota feels pretty exciting.
But i have one question, is there any infotable about the champs being picked/banned at the event? i really would like to see that and liquipedia doesnt have it if i am not mistaken.

Navi's mentality: Get kills, win teamfights, outperform the enemy in tactical decision making.
Alliance's mentality: Get buildings, win games, outperform the enemy in strategic decision making.
It's amazing how a team barely formed a year before TI could develop top-notch game plan and strategy. In the 5th game Alliance's decision making just became better the later the game goes, that it screwed up Navi's thought process, they fumbled so much in their team decisions in the last minutes of the game (Xboct ditching a Funnik lasso on Bulldog to try to save a dying Kuroky, then fail and rotate back to see Bulldog killed Funnik is an example).
