I think HAO is on point with this, idk, tthought about sharing it
So this year's Top four of The International we have two European teams, one Chinese team and one South East Asian team. What do you think is the reason that cause the Asian teams not performing as well as last year's?
HAO:I feel it comes down to preperation, teams did not prepare as much as they should have. Success is reserved to those that prepare. If you prepare more, you will naturally get closer to success. If you do not prepare, then it is all over. The two European made ample preparation and they have a lot of ways to counter the Chinese playstyle, we also do not understand them that well. Finally I think we as Cinese felt that we are the best in the world so we became complacent and did not put much effort into it. However this year's International gave us a whole new outlook so I believe that after getting home from Seattle, we will put more effort into it.
I think he knows they all could have done better. BUT i still believe its Alliance as the unbeatable force, then The Chinese + Orange+Na'vi, then the whole Western Scene, as a whole,i fell Eastern scene is still on top, BUT in a lot lesser degree that last year's. I mean, Alliance wins because they're just the closest to perfection, not because they play a strat that no1 understands, in the other hand, we have Na'Vi winning because they snowball or because they Fountain-hook. I'd Take the Chinese approach over Na'vi's one, but they seriously need to improve for TI4.

china does not need to reshuffle. china needs to open up. unfortunately it faces many outside barriers even if ACE wanted to let it's team roam. visa issues, government meddling, and red tape.

i have work while those games are being played tomorrow. fuck.

As a Navi's fan I would love to see my boys taking home the second aegis.
Having said that, I do have to admit that Alliance's performance so far has been nothing but perfection. No matter who the opponent, Alliance always had an answer, from snowball aggression to passive ricing. And as much as I hate seeing my favorite losing, Alliance, among all other teams, deserves to win this International the most.
Enough with serious head-talk.
NAVI GO!

I hope we see TongFu fight and show us great games, but ultimately lose in a way that strengthens Na'Vi's morale beyond compare, which leads to Na'Vi edging out the victory in a game 4-5 in the finals.

[A] and Orange making it to the Grands is like a dream come true

I fear for the quality of the grand final, because whatever team Alliance will face they will probably 3:0 them

While I have a lot of sympathy for Alliance, it's going to be really underwhelming if they manage to just stroll to the International title without ever looking like they're in real danger of losing.
Part of me still hopes they get LGD'd in the end.

Even though Orange lost to Na'Vi earlier, I really cannot see Na'Vi winning this. They have looked really bad recently, just using gimmicky / cheese strategies and basically hoping that their opponent is not ready for them. This isn't a reliable strategy, and I believe that such strategies are even less viable than usual against Orange, who in my opinion can play with / against the most different kinds of playstyles. Hence I'm guessing that Orange will defeat Na'Vi.
On Orange vs Alliance, I believe that Alliance has the advantage but Orange should be able to defeat them. They saw how DK defeated Alliance and I definitely believe that they have the players that are able to perform a similiar strategy. In addition, it's impossible to ban Mushi out and I'm still hoping for Mushi to play Templar Assassin...

Still, DK showed a way. Ban LD and let them pick prophet with a BM or Clock to snipe him off and gain mapcontrol.
I hope that the finals wont be a stomp at least. Yeah exactly. Bulldog plays so greedy it's ridiculous, super's BM aghs was able to shut him down and the result showed.

also it's about now i'm so glad a certain poster is banned. well, he would still have to account for his repeated statement that "sea dota is the weakest," and "na'vi is the only one who can stand against alliance." you can also laugh in his face if orange beats up na'vi and takes games off (or wins!) against alliance. this is all, of course, contingent on how well orange does tomorrow. :3c
hahah "SEA dota is weakest" man that was good
also no more TI till next year ;_;

Looking forward to being able to watch the whole day today! Seems like [A] will take the tourney the way they've been playing, what's their record now? 20-1?

What time will the grand finals be played?

Great play by Orange yesterday, I feel that they have a pretty good chance of winning if they can get a high impact hero on Mushi such as QoP or SF. But Orange isn't a one man army, every player always makes huge plays. Looking forward to their matches.
