They're just so dominant it bores people. But their execution is absolutely flawless. Their drafting is legitimately 1 level above many top teams. I don't really care who wins at this point, I just want close dota games instead of blowouts.

I want a close Grand Finals, but I kinda doubt it will happen sadly. Probably 3-1 or 3-0 whoever they face.

Unless Mushi literally has balls of steel and has his own anti-Wisp strat prepared.

Last series vs TongFu and Alliance were especially disappointing, pick wisp - who needs wards to gank, right? Freefarm Alchemist who destroyed teams solo countless times, sure why not do the exact same thing again! Why not pick retarded 1 button heroes for Dendi while we r at that as well, who needs one of the best playmakers in the world to have a decent initiation hero, amiright? And on the other side of the spectrum we have Orange who has picked very interesting drafts, SF + slardar were brilliant against tanky heroes and overall perfomance esp. in bo1 suggests that Orange LEARNS throughout the tournament, Na'Vi on the other hand - looks weaker and weaker with each game. I expect Orange to win 2:0 and loose to Alliance 3:1 in grand-finals. Na'Vi looks extremely unprepared aside from Chen+Rubick+naix+bounty+1 line up, which they played since forever pretty much.

All they need to do is start playing the Navi game, instead of trying to counter Alliance's game. Navi have the skills and aggression capable of defeating Alliance at their own tempo, so I hope the real Navi appears today. That said, I don't mind if Orange wins either. They are the dark horse, and have been steadily improving throughout the tournament. It also means that Mushi would win having played an astonishing amount of heroes. That's remarkable. Nonetheless, I'm ok if Alliance wins as well. They have shown to be classes above all other 15 teams atm, so you can't discredit them in anyway. Sure I do not like them, but I will respect that they are well deserving of 1st place.

I don't see how anyone can be entertained by the way Alliance plays. It's very, very, VERY effective, but utterly boring to watch. Their whole entire strat this TI has revolved around using Naga Siren Song to steal or 100% guarantee that they get Roshan every time. Otherwise, they play very defensive and just farm/split push with Natures Prophet if they can get him, and defend with something like KotL. Rinse repeat every single game. It's the basis of their line-up every single time, and no one can stop them because they execute it flawlessly. As long as S4 is on a hero he can use to control the tempo of the match, there is literally no reason why Alliance can't basically stomp anyone. The one game they lost was in part due to the fact that S4 was not on a hero that he could use to suppress the opposing team.

Yes, they've been hot today but can be cold tomorrow, it's Orange after all. Honestly if Orange could play like yesterday when they were against DK, Navi will have a tough time to beat Orange. But it doesnt matter anyway, Akke+EGM > any 3 players from Navi, it would be the most boring series if they met in Grand finals.

As good as a player he is, he was constantly pointing fingers, blaming everyone, rumros even say he was insulting his teammates. Just an overall attitude issue. Same was said already back, when he was in China, that he's one of the most skilled players the planet has to offer, but it's a pain in the ass playing with him in one team.

Alliance has got more kills than any other team in this tournament and of 20 wins 10 of them have ended before 30 minutes. The idea that Alliance only plays defensive farming dota is a myth.

Except the games they played with Wisp + Ursa, Mirana + SD trilanes with LD safelane, s4 being very aggressive with Timbersaw or Puck, and one could continue forever with counter examples. It's definitely true that Alliance quite often plays a splitpush style, but I see it more as them selecting the fights they can take better than most teams, and actually having a lineup that allows them to do that and get trades when they can't fight. This same discussion is around in pretty much every sport. Some people are entertained by a person or a team playing the actual game well, some people are entertained by the team playing with a style they like. Alliance certainly has their fans, and I am constantly entertained when I see how well they understand the flow of the game and what fights or trades to take.

Their drafting is really good and they know how to avoid a fight and recover. Bulldog getting dropped for first blood vs navi and recovering so fast was super impressive. They just know how to recover from and set backs and give that team member the room to catch up. They also pull of some of the best turn arounds in dota 2.

Basically, its where "Mushi is too Fking pro" came from. I believe it was yamateh who said that? Just some personality issues here and there

That's actually the biggest strength and why people havent figured out how to beat them effective, [A] simply play their best for the win. I like their attitudes toward the game very much (played with loda/s4/egm a few times in MM and they were serious as fck but god i dont think loda is a nice guy to get along with) and their executions in the game were nearly flawless because akke+egm really doing their jobs very well behind their 3 cores and at the same time loda is actually willing to make some sacrifices from time to time for the team. It is some professional dota team right if you asked me (which is always 'un-fun' same as in every other sport).
