Bear stays until rubick steals another spell or dies. Items will appear next time you summon.
I do not know about having your own scepter but if the hero you steal the spell from has a scepter then your spell will be upgraded top.
Rubick always wins. If you steal from someone with agha, you get the upgraded version. If you have agha and steal from someone who hasn't, you get the upgraded version.
Can some1 pls explain me the mindset when it comes to early game laning and use of teleports ? I come from LOL ( 2k games ) and this aspect of game is curently most confusing to me ..... as i'm used to ''blue pill'' and walk back fast - since map is smaller.
None of champion guides state that Teleport scroll should be purchased as starting item. ( How many scrolls should i purchase per game average , ofc it dipends on game and strat , but in general ?) 3X green tree eating things barely provide sustain in lane compared to dmg that enemy skills / mobs or acidental tower hits dish out. aka how should i sustain myself in lane porperly ? Scenario - i got hit by enemy skils and left with 100 hp pre lv6 ( No tp scroll no hp pots/fruits ) - what should be my actions in dota 2 ?
Thnx in advance
I just want to start by stating I do not know anything at all about LOL.
In Dota however, you would never buy a TPscroll as a starting item. "Regen" such as Tangos, Healing Salves and Clarities are obviously used in order to stay on your lane for as long as possible. Like I said, I do not know about LOL, but in dota, early game is a lot about getting experience. Going back to base will make you miss out on a lot of experience you would get if you had stayed on the lane. Also, since you can TP to towers in Dota (again, no idea about LOL), you can always run home, buy a TP and use it to get back to the lane quickly. However, if the chicken if free, do not hesitate to buy a healing salve and have it sent to you on your lane in order to be able to stay on the lane longer.
About the amount of TP's to buy, I would say that a decent rule of thumb is to always carry a TPscroll starting a few minutes into the game. Many times this will save you from being ganked, as well as giving you the opportunity to quickly aid a friend in need. Especially on lower levels, people tend to underestimate the fact that the enemy heroes can get support quickly if he is close to the tower and therefore will towerdive (the act of running into the range of the tower calculating that you will get the kill and be able to retreat before the tower kills you) way to often.
The tangos are actually incredible at keeping you close to your max health. In order to "win your lane" harassing is a very important tool. Most of the times, you will see players trying to hit you with rightclicks as much as possible. If you then by this harass drop down to, let's say 70% life, you are much more vulnerable to a gank, with the opposing players using their active skills. Therefore, in order to be able to keep on playing aggressive and get last hits, you need to stay on as close to full HP as possible.
This scenario is dependant on a few different things. I would say that with that little health, running home is your best option. When at home in base, you heal up and buy a TP in order to get back to your lane as quickly as possible. Once again I want to suggest using chicken wisely and really consider when to run home and when to have regen delivered to you instead.
Ok, now I've got a few dozen games under my belt of DOTA2 and I've transferred my experience of mechanics in SotIS to DOTA I figured its a good time to ask a question on hero selection.
At the moment I'm just choosing based on what I like the look of, the few things I've picked up from guides online about styles, what abilities they have and stuff like that.
I've found that I'm just totally in love with Templar Assassin and the playstyle, played more games as TA than anything else and I think my win rate is something like 7-3. I tend to find if I'm able to get solo mid as Templar Assassin I can often build to a point where I just dominate the entire other team through ambush ganks or just straight up destroying their whole team with psi-blades in late game teamfights.
But obviously relying on just one hero isn't exactly the most viable way to play. So I'd like a couple of suggestions on heroes played in a similar style, just fast-DPSing people down before they can fight back. So far I've mainly looked at stealth-based stuff. I've toyed about with Riki but he seems pretty hit and miss (either I absolutely annihilate the players of the other team by picking them all off all over the place or I just die constantly). I've played a game as Bounty Hunter and he seems pretty solid but is hard to get hold of because he's often picked in low-level pubs. I started playing Antimage a bit as well (for blink-in ninja-ganks) but its harder to get good farm without any kind of decent support given he seems to be fairly squishy for melee in early game.
In some hero skills there is ''... nearby ally/enemy heroes... ''. How nearby is nearby? Does it have some range or how is it calculated? Take for example ulti from Gondar.

Best hero for doing that is actually clinkz with Orchid. Silence from orchid prevents almost every hero from being able to fight back. You can go pretty much every lane with him since he is good for harassing with searing arrows and has windwalk as escape for hard lanes. Once you finished Orchid, preferably at ~15 min , just go into the enemy jungle and hunt them down. Max the arrows, eat creeps and make sure you have 1 or 2 lvls of Strafe to kill them before they can respond. It's a really good counter to chen (eat his centaur or whatever and kill him with the extra dmg). You can scare him completely out of his own jungle most of the times.

Dragon Knight - A Fast DPS build: Assault,BKB,+ any high tier damage item. DK has a relatively Long stun duration 3s++, has AOE nuke and badass Ulti which as LVL16 give him AOE splash damage and slow to his attack. PS. u can try to buy blink on DK, super fun.
Bara : This is also like riki a bit of hit and miss kind of hero, you ether own or get owned. Very strong mid game hero. Which only needs 1 item ( mask of madness ) to be instant killer to anyone farming alone. He has a passive skill that has a High Bash rate, coupled with fast attack speed provided by MoM..
Ursa : This is also in the same style as Bara but instead of bashes, he has a passive that give him additional damage multiplier per attack. Which has a good synergy with his other skill that increases attack speed for a few attacks. It is freaking deadly.
There is plenty more heroes that are like this. But some of them require you to steer away from the common builds.

If you like to kill ppl without them fighting back go void :D If you like to gank try pick gankers not am! My second fav hero is NS, hes a bit like TA, if you can get a nice first night you will snowball and feel godlike for most of the game. Hes a pretty easy hero, youll die some because of the godlike feeling you have but hes pretty nice against most of pubs lineups (lot of squishy heroes usually) so give him a try!
Of all the suggestions here the only one that has a similar play style to TA is nightstalker tbh. Super aggressive, farms gold by killing shit, preys on everything, and can still be very strong late game.
Wombo Combo- A term used by dota casters to describe a combination of spells, usually including several ultimate ones, capable of wiping entire teams when executed properly.
I guess I got two questions. One, does vlads aura work on Axes counter helix? So when he counter helix would he heal from it? and Two: Would vlads be a horrible item on axe? Because i'm looking at some builds online, and they normally suggest Tranquil boots if you jungle, and eventually you disassemble them to get power treads, and so with the rest of the disassembled items, why not make a basilius and then get a vlads since you're only missing a morbid mask?

Vlads doesn't work on his spin. Vlads only work on melee autoattacks, of which axe does very little damage with.
Also, the only time you would ever buy Vlad's on Axe is if you had some melee carry that you want to support. Vlad's is sometimes bought by melee carries (but generally you should never buy it as your first item unless you are Lycan or Ursa) and sometimes by support heroes. It's usually better to let support heroes buy it because it frees up an item slot for your carry. The aura is really good for the whole team because it gives armor, mana regen, lifesteal for melee carries, and %damage increase. Once you've got your core items it's not a bad item to buy because it helps your whole team.

Riki/BH/AM are all carries that require good items for good damage, and it sounds like you want someone who can reliably get kills in the early-mid game. Tiny is definitely a really good ganker that can transition into a carry / pusher role lategame (avalanche->toss combo for massive damage). Storm Spirit has really good mobility from his ult and his combo includes a pull and a slow, very good for ganking. Night Stalker would be an obvious ganker pick, he just has INSANE speed during nighttime + silence + slow + nuke.
