As for the reason, I think it is because of the other items built after. With tranquils you can regen up hp and with atos + medallion you regen mana. Allowing you to remain on the map. I honestly don't know a better reasoning for it, good MS I guess.

Is there a minimum game requirement for that to happen? Is this option still available with the TI7 Battle pass? Thanks ![]()

It has 10 game calibration and then you need 40 games played to be able to change your mmr at end of season if it's higher.

I played my 10 calibration matches. Doubled down on every single one of them and went 9-1. I calibrated only 200MMR higher than my actual MMR and the next few games I played seemed like total scrubs... pure cancer games. So yeah... I'm done with international ranked. but then again... I don't care about MMR, too old for that shit ![]()

Other than that it is only useful for people that have been playing a ton of normal games and no ranked for a year or longer.

Also can anyone suggest me some decent training tips for consistently hitting combos aside from playing bot matches, which for me isnt that useful since they all clump up so much its practically impossible to miss <2 heroes in a tornado exort combo.

That sounds a bit strange to me. Your timings are all the same, except tornado. Especially because in your Exort built you will basically always go for 4 points in Q (multiple reasons, one of the main ones really being that eqq won't trigger cold snap with less points, secondly the lift time of your tornado - 4 points means 1.7 second lift, which is same as EEE timing, and of course cold snap etc.), which means until the later game when W and E is maxed, your lift time should for basically the whole mid game (which seems to be your struggle) 1.7 seconds. so basically for combos you will only have to know what your lift time is - nothing else changes. so for an exort combo it's lift, then throw everything at him. even if you don't like it, trying this in a bot lobby a few times will get the timings right. after that it's playing games to get positioning down. For Wex combos it's mid game with 4 Q points, WWW first, wait about a second and tornado. late game it's the other way around. with max in Q, your lift time is 2.6 seconds. so it would be tornado, and then WWW. I see a lot of people just going for tornado, meteor and blast in mid game. I like to add a sunstrike to that, especially if you're attacking a single hero. but that depends a bit on your finger speed. have wwq and eee voked - tornado, sunstrike immediately, eew and qwe right after (timing it right is crucial, it's 1.3 seconds for meteor to land, the impact damage will be lost otherwise - also keep in mind that impact damage zone isn't where the meteor lands, it's sort of slightly in front, so always better to not meteor right on the hero but a bit before him to maximise damage) . If he's still alive throw in a qqq. Usually you will have to decide slightly on your item order depending on the lane. I almost always go for stick and brown boots before midas. Early on concentrate on your lane, but pay attention to possible ss pickoffs. What I quite like to do as well is stack with my forge spirit - voke it and send it out at around -:40 or so. At level 7(ish) you can go and get your 4 to 5 stack camp with a meteor. And overall... yes, concentrate on farming and getting your aghs up... your power spikes by so so so much, unless every lane is getting completely trashed, I would focus on getting aghs as your number 1 priority. You should be farming well enough, to even in a slightly bad game (I guess depending on your level a bit as well) get to Eul's/drums and agha at 22/23mins. If there's a riki/puck etc. I much prefer Eul's as first item. Some other heroes, e.g. Tinker/Necro etc. I like to go for drums first (also if you have a push heavy lineup). Just watch a bunch of Miracle- games on youtube or in the client.

I took somewhat of a break from Dota recently. All I remember is that I always had the mouse in source 1. How does it work now?

How does it work now? there was a bug where u couldnt see the players' cursor in player perspective. that was fixed.

I would like to be playing against Viper, BB, Sven, CK & Blood, while my team would consist of CM + 3 random heroes. I know you can choose heroes using console, eg "dota_bot_force_pick npc_dota_hero_chaos_knight", but how do you ensure that these 5 appear as my enemy? Thanks

Thanks I did that for a few days, while I didn't have internet ![]() You can separate them by comma and add multiple commands. (e.g. npc_dota_hero_luna,npc_dota_hero_sven,npc_dota_hero_crysta_maiden) There's only certain heroes and a bug though, so need to be careful. this explains it quite well: http://steamcommunity.com/app/570/discussions/0/350540780275044433/
