invoker can basically come back from any bad lane as long as the team matchup is right for it though off the top of my head, ember, dk, storm, sf, dp are probably the most manageable 1v1s early on, with things like ta, puck, od, and lina being generally harder in dotabuff, the matchup adv/disadv section only has 3 mid heroes: good against medusa and zeus (for lategame reasons), bad against puck (probably because dream coil is one of the ways to reliably keep him locked down when he tries to ghostwalk, and the silence is nice?)

The servers can't handle rewarding everyone all at once so it happens slowly in chunks over time. You'll get it eventually.

but yeah there are fewer angles to go from when ganking dire mid, if you do want to go from bottom, which means crossing the tower, they will need to be pushed up to radiant's side of the river

In case the target uses a spell during that period that is different from the last, which one does Rubik get?

it's a very tiny cast time and what you're speaking about is akin to cast backswing.

You get whatever spell was cast when the projectile was created. You actually get access to that spell when the projectile either hits you or fades of its own volition, either after 2 seconds or it travels 900 range or however it works. In either case, you get the last spell cast when you -cast- on them with spellsteal, not when the projectile fades.

It's only pub games for that stat. I'm sure that axe loses a 1v1 lane to timbersaw, but it seems that axe still maintains a 53% winrate against timbersaw. A whirling death build would easily be able to zone out an axe out of lane.
